She was hoping that she could convince Zhao Mengke to accept Wen Fan, however, she had to keep her promise of not telling the truth about Wen Fan to anyone.

There’s no need for you to worry about my brother.
He is able to take care of himself.

He used to be 100% assured of Lou Wei, but now, he is really worried.

He turned his head to the side to look at Lin Xiao who was sitting at his desk.
He said to Lou Xia, “What do you mean by that?”  

Lou Xia whispered, “My brother is just getting a projection now.

It’s terrible if he starts to make his own gaming pod two days later.”

Zhao Mengke was about to have goosebumps, “You, you, you! You——!”

Lou Xia snorted coldly.
Her voice is not that of a very clear type, but instead, it was a little hoarse.
Her voice matched her appearance perfectly.
She sounded sexy, but when she talked over the phone, she sounded cold and rigid like her brother.
She spoke with such a voice and delivered it through the phone’s speaker into Zhao Mengke’s ear——

“Don’t worry, I’m just joking.”

Zhao Mengke who almost leaped out of his skin, “…”     

After being frightened by Lou Xia like that, his heart was still racing.
Even after he hung up the phone, his mind was still in a blank state.

He stared blankly at the desktop.

“Lou Xia mentioned that Wei-ge might want to continue to do crazier stuff.
He might be looking into making a game pod for Wen Fan.”   

Lin Xiao didn’t show any reaction after listening to that.
He just responded ‘oh’ and nodded his head.

Zhao Mengke was anxious, “I’m talking about a game pod, why are you so calm?”

Lin Xiao, “Isn’t it the main goal for these two years to create a realistic game pod that was better than a VR experience for ‘Heaven’s Dream’?” 

Zhao Mengke was taken aback for a moment, and then slowly remembered that it is indeed true.

This year, ‘Heaven’s Dream’ has been working on resolving the issues with holographic projection.
But gaming pod is a completely different concept from holographic projection.
Holographic projection allows the players to experience being in the game in reality.
But in fact, the main objective is to bring the gameplay into the real world, seeing the world inside of the game and controlling it through the touchscreen to achieve what was done by typing on the keyboard.

But a game pod is different.
It is something that really allowed players to go into the gaming world.
When the player gets into the gaming pod, the pod connects to the neurons of the human brain and brings the player’s consciousness to enter the game world.
The player can truly experience the feeling of being inside the fantasy world.
They can step on the continent of the fantasy world, extend their hand to touch other players and NPC characters and they even have special powers.  

It’s like they had transmigrated into another world.

But because the ‘game pod’ is far more difficult to develop compared to ‘holographic projection’, therefore, the main focus of their research is on the ‘holographic design’.
However, their ultimate goal is still to develop the first game to be used on the ‘game pod”.

Zhao Mengke was stunned by Lou Xia just now and he got so anxious that he wasn’t able to think straight. 

After hearing Lin Xiao’s explanation, he was no longer anxious.
He was even beginning to feel a little excited.

But then, he started to think about another question that he was curious about previously.      

“Lin Xiao, do you think that two men can actually fall in love?” Xia Mengke asked with a puzzled face, “Think about it.
What’s great about a man with no boobs, no *ss, and not as sexy as the female character in my game?”

He scratched his head as he spoke.
The golden hair on top of his head became a pile of messy bird nest.
But Zhao Mengke was a sunkissed, hot-blooded and handsome young man.
His messy hair did not spoil his image, it made him appear a little wild.
But it’s just that he had that silly look in his eyes.
