I was feeling very sad and hopeless and I needed to talk to Dani.

” Pardon my interruption Alpha, you called for me ? ”

Daniel said politely.

” How many times I need to repeat myself, Dani? Don act this formal when we are alone ! ”

I said.

” I am sorry. I am afraid I shouldn call you Rick infront of the others and thats why I… ”

Daniel tried to justify his did.

” You won and I know that ! I only have left you Dani, as my dear friend. I have no one whom I can call my friend. Everyone loves me and I love everyone, but they look at me as their Alpha; a father; a protector ! I need you Dani, don steal my friend from me. I beg you ! ”

I said helplessly.

” Hey, don say that Rick ! You don need to beg for anything, bro. I was, am and will always be your friend. Nothings gonna change that, ever. Don worry. Let it be. What did you wanted to talk about ? ”

Daniel asked.

” I am feeling very alone, Dani. I don know whom to blame it on. have I born with the worst fortune ? ”

I said helplessly.

” Why are you saying such things ? What happened ? ”

Daniel asked.

” My parents don love me. My own brother… ”

” Twin brother ! ”

Daniel corrected me.

” Yeah yeah, twin brother. My twin brother hated me so much that he threw me in the woods to die. The person who turned me into a wolf and became my second father, died infront of my eyes because, I was weak to save him.

His own son is holding a rage against me for me being the Alpha instead of him. And as if all this wasn enough, my mate is getting married to my TWIN BROTHER ! I hate my fortune, Dani. Could it get any worse ? ”

I was about to cry.

” Don be so hopeless, Rick. Something good is definitely waiting for you in the future. Don loose hope like this ! You are our Alpha… ”

Daniel tried to cheer me up.

” I never wanted to ! I told Alpha Stanley this almost everyday but he didn gave up on his decision. He wanted it to be me. He just gave Robert so many chances because he knew, Rob would rebel against me he if think he didn had the opportunity to prove himself strong for the place of Alpha ! ”

I said.

” Why are you thinking about what already had happened in the past and you are unable to do anything to change it ? You need to think about present and future of the pack and not hold onto the past and blame yourself for what happened ! You can sit hopeless like this. The pack needs its Alpha ! ”

Daniel said.

” I AM here for them. ”

I said.

” And what about their Luna ? The pack needs a mother as well ! ”

Daniel said.

” Dani just now I told you that she is getting married to Petric ! ”

I was getting mad.

” Yes, but that doesn justifies your negligence of the Luna for the pack ! ”

Dani said.

” Are you drunk ? You are the original wolf right ? I am turned ! You know it better than me that when a wolf imprints on someone, it is impossible for him to accept anyone else as his mate ! I need her and can give her place to anyone else. ”

I said getting irritated.

” Yes I know. But you have to try to imprint on someone else. You can have her, she is getting married ! ”

Daniel said.

” How can I ? We can imprint just once… ”

I tried to tell him the obvious.

” That is for the original wolves ! You are turned one for gods sake ! You can use that excuse. ”

” Still. I can , Dani. I just can . Original or not, but I have not only imprinted on her as a wolf but, I have loved her as a human as well. So, it is next to impossible for me to look at anyone else.

You aren oblivious about the females of our pack having crush on me. But I never paid attention towards them.

I told him

Daniel said with a tone as if he already knew what I did.

” I threw a bedsheet on her and pushed her out of my room. ”

I placed hands on my ears.

She had her many of her heat cycles and she have beard them all alone in pain but didn mate with anyone. Her room is close to mine, Ive heard her pained screams but she didn let anyone take her pain away !

She have earned my respect for her act. We can even imagine the pain the unmated females go through when they are in heat. She could have asked anyone and none would have denied to take her yet, she bears all alone everytime. ”

I told him the truth.

” See thats why all the pack members respect you. You never judge anyone for anything and respect everyone. I am sorry. I shouldn have said that. ”

Daniel said realising his mistake.

” We should respect our females, only then the others will ! They aren things we would use for our needs. They deserve respect as well. ”

I said.

” Yes. You are right. I am sorry. I won use such language for her ever again. But Rick, the main question remained unanswered. What about our Luna ? You have to do something about it ! ”

Daniel said seriously this time.

” I don want to talk about it now. Give me sometime. I just came to know that my love is going to be someone elses. Let it be, what about our packs wellbeing ? ”

I asked changing the topic.

” Everything is alright and under control. Everyone is loyal just can say this, confidentially about Robert. ”

Daniel said.

” I know. I only need the news from the others. I am keeping a keen watch on him myself. He was never trustworthy and now he have declared that no other pack is ready to accept him, that means he have approached them ! And it won always happen. Someone would accept him someday. ”

I said thinking about it.

” Yes, Ill watch for it. ”

Daniel said.

” Good. Now, does our pack needs anything ? ”

I asked

” Um… The female stuff ! We never knew about the things, before you introduced them to us . Now the expenses increased many times than earlier. ”

Daniel told me.

” Let it be Dani. I don care about the increased expenses, the pack must be hygienic and advanced always ! And always be provided with what they need. ”

I told him.

Daniel was saying something.

” Nothing doing. Get whatever whoever wants. Well increase the work and increase the income if our expenses are increasing. Reducing the expenses is not an option for our income is low ! Ill increase the packs income you don worry about it. Anything else ? ”

I asked.

” No nothing. Send someone with me for the female stuff. They almost broke my arms last time, because I didn brought the stuff with the same name as they asked for. And I am not gonna face it ever again ! ”

Daniel said cringing from the memory of his beating by the Omegas.

I couldn help but laugh.

They become something else. I am ready to take care of a whole pack but not our Omegas all alone ! ”

Dani said crossing his heart, swearing of never doing that again.

I said amusingly.

Daniel said seriously.

I asked.

Daniel said.

” Interesting. You are the Beta, make your decision. If you are ok, take her with you or you can ask anyone else among them. Choose yourself. ”

I said letting him decide.

” I guess, Ill ask her to come and get it. And Ill apologise to her. I am actually feeling guilty for what Ive said for her. What you told me has increased my respect for her as well ! ”

Daniel said genuinely.

” Very well. I am proud of you Dani. ”

I said. And he went to meet Katharine, the most sexy and seductive Omega of my pack.
