The Yin-Yang Wanderer

Ill definitely make it back before the sunsets! I will! I have to this time…

Assad ran fast into the woods, making sure to follow the trail he had set up before. Setting up a trail like this over the past 3 days has been useful for sure. I wonder if he will be there again.

He set down Ravin under some bushes before he jumped on the trees going from one to another in major hops. Ravin was still sleeping and Assad didn want her to get hurt again in the fight.

Im too weak to use her to her full extent for now. I hope she will just stay still.

Eventually he reached a clearing in the forest, a place where he had fought many fights in the last 3 days. A man was sitting in the middle, trying to start himself a fire of some sort.

Damn it it just had to rain today! The man thought to himself as he scratched his grey hair. Im going to need to collect a lot more wood now.

He then walked to a tree behind him where he kept his spear. Turning to the side he noticed the pair of swords he had been keeping through out his journey in this forest. He picked them up right after grabbing his spear.

Oh yeah I still have these. for some reason I can remember where I got them. Its not like me to use swords…

As he was standing under the tree he failed to notice the person in all black, lurking above him.

Ryuk! Assad watched every move the grey haired man made. He was tall and thin, wearing purple clothing and a scarf that tied diagonally over his chest. His pants were black and rolled up a considerable amount. On his ankle was a crossed out tattoo of a black fish.

The symbol of the law.

Just as Ryuk turned around Assad plunged down, pushing himself off the tree to make sure he went down faster. He snatched the swords before Ryuk could react and quickly backed away. Assad took out the two chained swords and launched himself at full speed hoping to catch Ryuk off guard.

Unfortunately Ryuk was a man wanted by many who loved fights and wasn a newbie to a surprise attack. He put all his energy into turning his arms and used his spear to block the two swords. He then turned his head to look at the Yin-Yang mask that Assad had on.

All of a sudden he remembered.

He remembered fighting this young kid last night. The fight almost reaching noon until his opponent finally gave up and ran away. He was also injured and needed rest so he didn even bother to follow him.

”SO YOUVE COME BACK FOR MORE!? ”

Assad flinched a little not expecting to be remembered. He looked out and it seemed to be almost 5:20. Must be because it hasn been 12 hours yet. He didn remember me the last 2 times.

”YOU PRESISENT BRAT! I don even enjoy fighting with you because you
e so weak and annoying! ”

Ryuk thought back to their fight this morning. For some reason my poison doesn work that well on him. I get wanderers bodys sometimes adapt and learn but it was his first time was it not?

Assad attacked again, shoving a sword towards Ryuks face and when he blocked with the spear, Assad rotated his sword so the spear also went down and crashed to the floor.

He read my moves?

Ryuk wasn given much time to think as Assad stepped on his spear and attacked with the other sword. Ryuk quickly tried to dodge but wasn fast enough and ended up with a cut to the cheek.

Grabbing Assad arm, Ryuk smiled widely.

YES! THIS WILL BE INTERESTING!

He flipped back resulting in Assads smaller body flying over him and getting thrown back. Ryuk moved fast and swift getting back up and grabbing his spear to counter Assads sword. Assad strikes his sword upside down, and mid air but unfortunately Ryuk was able to block, sending Assad flying down on his back.

Ryuk jumped up and pushed down with his spear pointed towards Assads head. Assad started rolling away as the spear made contact with the floor. From the lack of strength, there was no wind or any vibration to throw Assad far so he was able to get up quickly.

So far I know hes a thin guy who uses hes speed to attack his enemy with poison. Therefore, Im going to need to limit his movements.

With a plan in mind, Assad first jumped up and swung down from above. Since Ryuks spear was still stuck in the ground he was made to block with the other side allowing Assad to get close. With his other sword he swung to the opposite direction. Ryuk wasn with no plan either for he used the spear to balance himself and picked his feet of the ground.

They both ended up making contact with each other as Ryuk kicked Assad in the guts with both his legs and Assad made a deep cut in Ryuks shoulder. Moving fast, Ryuk wasted no time and backed away right after he pulled his spear out of the ground.

”Heheheh..You got better! I don know why you know my weaknesses and tricks but this is fun! ”

He watched as Assad got up of the floor, holding his stomach in pain. Looking at the mask on the kids face, Ryuk got the same feeling everybody else felt when they looked at the kid. Like there was a demon inside of him.

He must be under a curse of some sort. Seems like a strong one as well…

Ignoring the pain, Assad jumped back into the fight exchanging blows with Ryuks spear. He was focusing on attacking his left side for that was where the cut was. Ryuk noticed and with a chuckle changed his position. He was now facing Assad with the spear directly aimed at him.

Sound of wind being cut filled the forest as Assad tried his best to dodge the quick attacks Ryuk was sending at him. He was now at a disadvantage for Ryuk was using a poking like skill to attack. He was just shoving the spear where Assad head was and Assad was doing his best not to get hit.

Hes toying with me! Assad gritted his teeth and used his swords to divert the spear and slide along the side, closing in on Ryuk.

”Ooh! guess I should end it now. ” Ryuk threw a jab which Assad was expecting and he dodged easily. Is the curse knowing people moves but being stuck in a kids body? Ryuk titled his head to the side but kept throwing punches.

Im not strong enough for my punches to make damage but hes not giving me an opening to attack with swords!

As a final resort. Assad used the Tensai he was preserving to harden the outside on his palm. Its not strong enough from the last fight but it will do.

Ryuk noticed but it was too late. Just as he was throwing a punch, Assad used his metal palm to divert it upwards leaving Ryuk open.

Finally!

Assad went in with his sword but was met by an unsuspected head butt from Ryuk. He slammed their head together throwing Assad back. Hes small and weak figure was no match for Ryuks and as he flew back, Ryuk pulled him in by the arm and gave him a punch to the gut again.

There. Same place. Hes little kid im sure he won be able to get up from this!

Ryuk looked down at the kid on the floor, sprawled out. Hes actually very skilled. Too bad hes so little. What type of parent lets their 6 year old become a wanderer?

Assad crawled up on his knees and tried to get away. He was dizzy and in no shape to fight. It felt as though the wind was knocked out him. He was breathing but the air just wasn reaching his lungs. Fuck! No! I have to go back before sundown! or! or… they will forget me again!
