The Unwanted Unwanted Marriage

Not A Teacher\'s Pet Pt. 2

The wedding ceremony was nowhere near humble. The whole country celebrated for them, only except themselves. The house they have moved in was the same home they had once mutually build, inch by inch, brick by brick. But now it wasn that home at all. It was….. Just a four walled habitat.

This building was also similarly decorated. All those lights and immense flower arrangements hugging the pillars, the atmosphere was almost festive like. But strangely, or more like fairly, their bedchamber wasn decorated like others would think. Even though it was their wedding night. There were no candles, no flower petals or no giggling, irrational cousins. Joon Tae took a shower, blow dried his hair and changed into his nightrobe; all alone in the room. Not that he wasn grateful for the profound loneliness.

About the room not having any touch of folderol, Joon Tae might as well be aware of the reason. This marriage, it was ploy only for show. Such a mascot celebration, did they need to make it beautiful from inside out? The guests would see the house tomorrow when they come. Who would see their bedroom? Why the burden?

This whole relationship was hollow in the inside anyway.

Joon Taes peaceful monologue, however, was only for so long as the door he had thought would not open before tomorrow morning, cracked a hair length and let the outside light cease the rooms vast darkness. Funny how even such a large amount of darkness could not fight this little flickering light; how terrifyingly invincible. It was littered with shadows, yet still just as invincible.

With a little second of hesitation, the door, like a cowardly man finally taking their last decision, moved and made way for the person at the other end.

Joon Taes pupils shook and his lungs leaped till his throat. Well, obviously that didn happen in practical, he hasn suddenly turned into someone so holy to gain self destructive power, so even if he wanted to cease to exist at this very moment he wouldn be granted such an easy way out. Where was he that brave?

Instead, he turned, walked away and started sorting his luggage like he didn care Mujins shamelessly open stare. His back was burning, but he ignored and ignored.

And Mujin seemed to not really expect such reaction from him either, standing there still, startled and surprised. A long time passed, Joon Tae aimlessly touched this and that among the clothes yet couldn out time Mujin, impatiently waiting for him to get fed up of the silence and just pass him like an unseen piece of log. That obviously didn happen either. Instead, Mujin walked in and stood right behind his scooting limbs.

”Was he invited too? ”

Tae didn reply. He swore to himself he wouldn in the future either.

”Did you invite him, that childs father? Or did he come on his own. To see how you ditch him and marry another man without any remorse. Aren you the best at doing that? ”

Joon Taes movement ceased before continuing again. He hurried and soon gathered all the clothes he was previously unpacking and chained them back in the case. Standing up, he walked away to the side table and poured himself a glass of water, as if thats what he went there to do from the beginning. Only he knew he was just thoughtlessly busying himself with something or anything. He feared he would not be able to look Mujin in the eye if he needed to and that would make things more unacceptable to himself than it already was. It was resentment, anger, hatred and even fear, that was holding him back from confronting him. He feared him, and how much power he proved to hold over their mutual lives, or even on Joon Taes personal life. Didn he walk through the aisle just like Mujin had wanted? Did his choice matter in the end? Proof how he was merely a voodoo doll before Mujins horizonless power at this point.

”Angry? Upset?

Seems like this one was true love for you if you are so angry over your departure with him. Or am I overestimating your loyalty? ”

Joon Taes skin was already like a gooses; all bumpy from the adrenaline rushing to his system. How could he even manage to feel hurt by those words, nevermind reply. His back muscles were stretched and jittery; terror and trepidation galloping him untill all he was, was a small ball of sensitivity.

Mujins words ceased with time once he noticed how anxious the man before him looked.

The last and beautiful days of their commitment, Mujin fell in love with this person again and again exactly because of how beautifully prideful he was. His strong self-respect and proper sense of self importance made him the paramour Mujin never thought he could ever become. But who was this before him? Whose backbone was so curved it resembled a dilapidated bow.

Was Joon Tae so scared just because Mujin tyrannically married him? His Tae wasn like this, wasn this easy to fall apart.

Realisation downed in him. He wasn his Tae. He was just Joon Tae, whom he had obviously failed to recognise honestly. He was Joon Tae who is guilty. So guilt burdened that he couldn look him straight at the eyes.

Mujins chest churned. Why doing something you are so ashamed of that you can not even face your loved ones?

His eyes softened without listening his one word. His hand tried to reach Joon Taes slightly shaken frame. No matter how resentful he was now, this was a man he had fallen for. Was feelings so easy to forget?

But the next moment, words flowing through Joon Taes mouth tied those wondering hands tight in place,

”I don do true love, Mujin. You should have known better. Even after making an idiot out of yourself once, I suppose you still didn learn a thing. ”

With hands hung midway and Joon Taes back facing him, Mujin cried a single drop of abrupt tear. But his eyes were so dry already that it was all they could squeeze out. A single drop, like a single sad song at the end of a tape.

He smiled softly, mocking himself in his head. Of course, he was such an idiot to imagine that false compassion hed hope to see in Joon Taes eyes. What was he thinking? How can he be distracted this easily? Forgetting his intent to ever continuing this marriage, just like this.

He did slip for a moment, but in his heart he took the oath to never ever lose his focus again until he reaches his goal. That is, making Joon Tae just as hurt as he himself was right now. Until his heart was just as perforated, as punctured and porous.
