The other recruits were also feeling enthusiastic about their bodies.

”Don get too excited. Your path to ultimate evolution has merely begun! ”

Rita faced the recruits who were off stage. ”You all, which includes them, will get food that will help you level up, ” she said. ”But we can only help you with resources that will evolve you to a certain level. From that point forward, you guys will move out from the base occasionally to find resources to continue your evolution. ”

”And please, for the moment, no one should pick a fight with your colleagues on stage. They have the evolutionary advantage. ”

Rita turned to the recruits on the stage and said, ”You guys should try to stay out of trouble. ”

Another Roman, Jeffery, said to the recruits, ”You all should proceed to the second floor. Your survival training will be held on the second floor. ”

The recruits left the theatre and went to the second floor.

The second floor was a training room. There was VR equipment on the floor. The images displayed by the VR system were lifelike. None of the images looked like cartoons.

The VR suits were head-to-toe armour equipped with stimuli devices to excite the nerves of their users and make the experience more lifelike.

The recruits all geared up in their VR suits. After checks were done, the recruits were immersed in the wilderness of False Heaven.

”The environment feels familiar, right? Its the wilderness you guys went across before reaching here. You guys will receive training on how to work as a team in hunting beasts, ” a voice said through the speakers on all the suits of the VR users.

”First advice, when in a team, try to keep the team unified, ” the voice continued.

There were currently about three thousand recruits in this training session. They were divided into groups consisting of 50 members.

Each group had a building that served as a base. Every group had a mission, which were all identical. Each group was given information on an animal to hunt and kill. The groups were given 30 minutes to organise themselves for their hunt.

In Kyles group, the role of the groups leader was placed on his head. His group was to hunt a four-legged chicken, which looked like a T-rex dinosaur. The target was twelve feet tall. Its top speed was close to 150 km per hour. Its body was modelled to be a predator.

In other words, their battle was a predator versus predator battle. They had 4 marauder vehicles available. The vehicles had a machine gun mounted on it. In their arsenal, they had RPGs, rifles, bazookas, and mines.

According to the information on the chicken, the chicken could take hits from ten bazooka missiles at once. It meant that the chicken had a tough body.

Kyle explained his plan to take down the chicken to his group. They would set up mines in an area close to the territory of the chicken. The chicken was given to be territorial. Then some of the members with a marauder vehicle will go and lure out the chicken to the mine-studded area.

The mines were remote controlled. When the Chicken would be in the centre of the mine studded area, the mines would be activated. The explosions would cause severe injuries to the chickens body. The injuries would make the chicken bleed to death.

One of the team members asked, ”Since our target isn a regular chicken, Don you think that the chicken would sense that we were luring it into a trap. ”

”System, how fast can our vans go? ” Kyle asked.

”Its fastest speed is 320km per hour. ”

Kyle then divided the team into four groups. One group was long-range shooters. They would stay very far from the action. They would deliver attacks from range to devastate the chicken. The down side was that they couldn attack regularly, otherwise they risked alerting the chicken to flee.

The second group was going to lure the chicken from its territory to the mine-studded area.

The third group was small in numbers and was going to be on the other side of the mine studded area. The fewer numbers of the third group was to fool the chicken that they weren much of a threat to the chicken.

The fourth group was the largest in numbers. They were going to go round the third group to try and cover possible escape routes of the chicken. Then, they would join in on the assault on the chicken.

The plan was that the mines would cause serious injuries to the chicken. Because the chicken was a tough beast, it was expected that it wouldn give in to the injuries. And left untroubled, its injuries would heal.

The assault would mean that the chicken would possibly incur more injuries that the body couldn handle.

Most of the recruits couldn handle guns. But the A.I integrated into V.R augmented that. The A.I. acted as a system for the recruits that never evolved.

Kyle had activated his own system and so wasn in need of much help from the A.I.

Kyles team was ready to go. They checked their guns and their vehicles, making sure that they were in the best condition. The V.R. training had real life practicality attached to it. Kyle and his team left for the mission.

On the way, Kyle suggested that the team call themselves Lander-Team-X. The other team members were cool with the name.
