This stone pillar was colossal, with a long underground river flowing past it that had white foam churning, looking like a scene from a magical wonderland.

Xia Fei did not waste any time appreciating his mysterious surroundings, though.
After absorbing so much energy, he urgently needed to expend the surplus.
Otherwise, it could cause his body to explode from all the energy!

He looked around with his two eyes.

“You must be the only person in this world who depends on absorbing others’ energy to promote.” Oro shook his head as he mused over this.

Xia Fei exhaled and relaxed.
He swept his gaze all around.

“What’s wrong about that? ‘You reap what you sow.’ Though I depend on devouring others to advance, all the energy is from the opponents I successfully kill.” Xia Fei shrugged his shoulders.

Searching through his bosom pocket, Xia Fei produced two spatial rings.
One belonged to the Law Overlord Sezsny, while the other was still attached to a half severed finger, most likely belonging to that long dead expert, the Divine Beast Blackscaled Axeblade’s master.
Neither Xia Fei nor even the demon lord Oro had any clue as to what level this unknown person was.

All they know is that he died from the backlash from the Law of Time, and this ring might very well contain the number one law power of the God Race, the Law of Time!

Forcibly resisting the urge to take a look inside the spatial ring, Xia Fei first sent his consciousness into Sezsny’s ring.
As a Law Overlord from the Darkpearl Clan, there was sure to be plenty of good items in his hands.
Over eight hundred precious grade 5 Origin Crystals were on his person alone, and while the rest of the trinkets he had were exquisite, nothing sparked Xia Fei’s interest, so he did not bother to examine them one by one.

Smiling, Xia Fei pulled out that half severed finger and sent his consciousness into the black spatial ring.

This was when Xia Fei heard the soft humming of a woman from deeper underground.
The tune was strange yet familiar.

‘Is someone here?’ Xia Fei was slightly startled as he thought to himself.
