Gu Nian tried to suppress her urge to yawn and turned around.

The girl in the mirror was listless like she could fall asleep any given second.
The areas around her eyes were red and the corners of her eyes were moist.

It did look like she had been crying.

She balled it up after she had dried her hands and tossed it into the garbage bin.
When she was all done, she was about to leave.

After being ignored several times, Zhuo Yixuan couldn’t stand it anymore.
She raised her voice.
“Gu Nian!”

“?” Gu Nian came to a stop slowly and looked up.

Zhuo Yixuan was so angry she was about to bust out laughing.
“Are you a turtle? Is that why no matter what I say, you just pretend that you can’t hear me and then run off?”

The hallway where the restroom was located was not far from the dressing room and the prop room.
Most of the workers were over here and a few of them, attracted by the noise, had already stuck their heads out and perked their ears up.

Feeling the gaze from the onlookers, Zhuo Yixuan felt even more redeemed.
She snickered, “Wordless again? Make sense.
You know exactly why you are able to stand here today.
The only thing you know how to do is to hide behind Luo Xiu.”

She let out a big yawn.
In her, once again, tear-filled eyes, her eyes droopy, she walked slowly past Zhuo Yixuan.

The moment that she walked past her, hiding in her yawn was a voice that was so light it could almost be one’s imagination.

Zhuo Yixuan’s body froze suddenly.

After she had recollected herself and turned around to determine whether she really heard those mocking words, she noticed that Gu Nian had already walked away without stopping.

That evening, Luo Xiu’s little assistant received notice from the director team to go pick up Luo Xiu from hotel and take him to the studio for some night-time filming.

The two of them arrived early and, possibly that the cast had left for dinner at the cafeteria, there was nobody inside the temporary dressing room.

The amenities were very limited inside the ravine.
The temporary dressing room also doubled as the prop room and, further in, on the other side of a thin wall, was the temporary lounge for the production team.

The little assistant stayed with Luo Xiu in the lounge while the two of them waited for the makeup artist.

Getting bored after waited for a little while, he leaned over to Luo Xiu and said, “Brother Luo, did that little screenwriter really gave you crash courses in the last few days?”

Luo Xiu responded casually as he flipped through a magazine in the lounge, “Mmm.”

Lu Xun, “She’s good.
I heard that Screenwriter Zhuo gave her a hard time this afternoon blaming your NGs on her character setting.
She didn’t take it out on you?”

The magazine being flipped stopped in midair.

Luo Xiu looked up and asked nonchalantly, “Zhuo Yixuan gave her a hard time?”

The little assistant was pleased.
“I’ve also heard about how you have ‘stood up’ for her in the cafeteria before.
But you already knew all along how Screenwriter Zhou would react, right?”
