Deep repulsion and coldness flashed past Gu Nian’s eyes when she heard that.

“Someone posted secretly to one of our side chatgroups among the production team.
It seemed that he got drunk last night and fell on the patio! He even broke one of his ribs!”

Gu Nian was taken aback a little.
Looking up, she asked, “He fell?”

“That’s what everyone said.
And it’s what the hotel was saying as well but……”

Lifting up her arm, Jiang Xiaoqing gestured in front of her chest and said secretly, “One of the field service guy who went and checked it out said that he had a footprint right smack in the middle of his chest!”

Qin Yuanyuan chuckled next to her as well.
“That was what Xiaoqing and I were talking about.
How would it be possible that all he had was just a broken rib and nothing else if he had a fall on the patio?”

Jiang Xiaoqing, “Exactly.
For sure he was kicked by someone!”

Something seemed to have triggered in Gu Nian’s mind.

In that very second or two, she seemed to have some vague collection of a scene and some tragical howling sound that went through her head.
They were vague and bizarre and she couldn’t recall the details.

Gu Nian frowned a little and just chalked it up as part of the hangover.
“Didn’t the guy make a fuss?”

“Oh yeah, he was cussing up a storm earlier but then he received a call and turned into a mute instantly –– then he was the one who said he fell on his own and had nothing to do with anyone!”

“……”

Gu Nian was taken aback a little.
