“Your highness, we must leave right away.
The king’s knights are on their way.”

Ilona hobbled out of bed.
Her limbs were as slender as a branch.

“I left something at the prince’s palace.
I’ll be back with that.”

“Can’t you just send a maid?”

“It’s my son’s property, so I’d like to take it with my own hands.”

“Then I’ll come with you.”

“No, please wait right here.

Laslo smiled.
