Chapter 17: Infiltration and Disguise

To find out the location of the underground mutant fighting arena, for now, Yu Feng had to rely on Alex.
After all, Yu Feng wasn’t familiar with the roads of the entire New York City, and getting lost would be embarrassing.

Soon, nightfall arrived.

However, Yu Feng didn’t resume his daily training.
Instead, he followed Alex’s trail and arrived at his residence outside the school, quietly waiting.

He wasn’t sure if Alex would continue to the underground mutant fighting arena tonight.
After all, based on the bloodstains on his clothes, it might not be wise for him to return to the arena.

He waited for about half an hour.

Just as Yu Feng thought that Alex wouldn’t take any further action and was prepared to return to the school, his gaze suddenly shifted.
He saw a white light illuminate the yard of Alex’s residence, followed by a car driving out.

The car quickly merged onto the highway and disappeared into the darkness.

Yu Feng’s gaze flickered.

Swoosh!

In the next moment, his figure instantly transformed into a golden flash, disappearing from his original position.

After about twenty minutes, Alex’s car stopped outside a shopping mall in New York City.
Although it was nighttime, the mall was still brightly lit, bustling with people.
However, at the entrance, there were two tall African-American security guards dressed in black suits.

“A different kind of shopping mall…” Yu Feng quietly observed from a distance as Alex got out of the car.

At this moment, Alex had already changed into a clean and neat white suit.
He even wore a slightly flashy red tie and a pink shirt as an undershirt, giving off a flamboyant vibe.

He walked towards the entrance of the mall, smiling at one of the black security guards.
At the same time, he took out a half-red, half-gold strange card with a peculiar pattern on it, resembling an inverted skull with tentacles around it.

Upon seeing this, the black security guard nodded and then made an inviting gesture, respectfully leading Alex into the mall.

However, they didn’t enter through the main entrance but instead went through a highly concealed side entrance.

“Hmm?” Yu Feng watched this scene from afar, a smile forming on his lips.
He knew that the underground mutant fighting arena should be beneath this particular mall.

However, to enter, special verification was required…

No wonder Alex seemed a bit disheveled this morning.

He sought out Professor X, probably to find a way for the professor to obtain that special card for him.

But for Yu Feng, things didn’t need to be so troublesome.

“Mr.
Summers, please follow me this way,” a sneaky-looking guy with a shifty appearance approached as Alex entered the side entrance.
Glancing at Alex’s card, his face bloomed like a chrysanthemum, and he said, “The VIP seat is ready for you.”

“Okay,” Alex nodded, assuming the demeanor of a wealthy gentleman, and followed the shifty guy.

Whoosh!

Suddenly, a gust of wind blew by.

The two didn’t pay it much attention as they headed towards the distant gathering of countless dazzling lights and bustling voices.

In the center of that place, there was a massive arena surrounded by electric fences.
The fences were covered in bloodstains, and upon closer inspection, even burnt flesh and remnants of human skin could be seen attached to them.

At this moment, two burly men were fighting in the arena… or rather, it was more appropriate to describe it as a life-and-death battle.

One of the men had muscles bulging all over his body, with veins popping out.
Every muscle on his body seemed as solid as granite, exuding an incredibly powerful strength.
With every move he made, the entire arena seemed to tremble.

As for the other man… he was fat! Extremely fat! From a distance, he looked like a pile of meat, giving off an incredibly unbelievable feeling!

Alex calmly watched the life-and-death battle in the arena from his VIP seat.
After watching for a while, his gaze gradually shifted toward the distance.
It was unclear what he was thinking about.

“Phew!”

At this moment, Yu Feng had already arrived among the boisterous crowd of spectators.
He looked at the group of hysterical, neck-reddened, and seemingly crazy spectators with a slightly speechless expression.
He glanced around, trying to find an opportunity to enter the arena and train his combat abilities.

However, he couldn’t just expose himself and directly step onto the arena, right?

He needed something to disguise himself.

“Hmm? Where did this little brat come from? Get the hell away from me!” Suddenly, a guy wearing a leather coat, appearing intoxicated, noticed Yu Feng beside him and immediately kicked at him without hesitation.

Yu Feng casually glanced at this guy and when he saw the leather coat on the guy, his eyes suddenly lit up.
He noticed something and a smile formed on his lips.

Whoosh!

Just as the guy was about to kick, he suddenly felt his vision blur.
He found himself in a deserted corner, standing face to face with a smiling black-haired Asian boy.

“Hmph! Little brat…” The guy shook his head, snorted coldly from his nose, and was about to continue kicking.
But his eyes suddenly widened, seeing that the boy’s foot had already kicked him in the stomach.
There was even a dazzling golden light flashing from his foot.

This was the last image in his memory.

In the next moment, he promptly vomited blood, fainted, and collapsed to the ground.
Seeing this, Yu Feng clapped his hands with a slight smile, then proceeded to strip off the guy’s coat and belt.
He used his laser power to cut and transform the coat into a slightly smaller sleeveless cloak.

It was a cloak that could wrap around his entire body.

At the same time, the collar was extremely deep and wide, capable of covering almost half of his face.
Yu Feng also found some brand-new masks from this guy.
It was estimated that this guy used these masks not just for the purpose of breathing fresh air.

Yu Feng decisively put on the mask.

Finally, he used the cut belt to fasten the somewhat loose cloak.
The makeshift “battle attire” was complete.
Although it looked a bit peculiar on the outside, it would hide his appearance.

“Hmm… It seems like I’m missing a hat…” Yu Feng touched his seemingly empty head.

In the next moment, a certain young man in the spectator stands lost in his pretentious duckbill cap.
