Ye Ling watched her enthusiasm, before complaining angrily to Ye Qingtang, who remained quiet all this while: ”That girl, how can she be so tactless? From the way, Duan Tianrao treated you, how can she still see him off? ”

Ye Qingtang replied nonchalantly while peeling an orange:

Though the raws describe this action, I find it weird when I include that description in an English context.
TL; DR: its equivalent to waving goodbye.
