Psychotic

Chapter 7

A guy sauntered in what seemed to be like a closed warehouse and headed for the storage room where a lot of cargo was placed. Despite it being too late for anyone to be working, there were still people inside either standing around doing something or just talking. They didn exactly look like a welcoming bunch.

However, the moment they caught sight of the guy they stood straighter and became alert, some even offering a passing greeting.

The playful attitude they were met with might have seemed out of place for people like them, people who were more on the unsavory side of the general population, but they looked wary despite the playfulness. There was not a single person in there without a tattoo, a scar, or a body count. It was no secret that they were all criminals with weapons sheathed somewhere on their person.

The only thing that tied them together was the fact that they were all outcasts who left their packs for a better one. A dysfunctional one.

Their pack was unlike any other since they don really have a leader, but everyone knows who actually runs the place. There was no question about it, and whoever dares to show any sort of disloyalty or defiance would learn a lesson they might not survive.

Everyone knows that, but some are still stupid.

The guy continued as he hummed a tune, an upbeat tune, with a relaxed smile on his face and the biggest guy in the whole warehouse, who was known to be ruthlessly brutal among them, became a lot less intimidating when he scrambled to get out of the humming guys way.

Without paying attention to him, the guy continued on his way until he reached Lenoras office. She was their accountant and the person responsible for keeping their whole operation on track. It was no surprise that most of their profits are from criminal activities, and it was what kept the place afloat.

When Lenoras door opened, she spared a glance at her visitor before looking down at her papers again. Black glasses adorned her face, and she always loved to have her dirty blonde hair neat and straight. ”I am not in the mood for one of your whims. ”

The guy took a seat in front of her desk. ”Where are they? ”

Lenora put down the papers and looked up at her unofficial boss. Seems like he came here for business. One never knows. ”Down at the basement. ”

”How many? ”

She adjusted her glasses and moved left and right in her rotating seat. ”Three plus someone from the Hawthornes pack. ”

”Hm. ”

That was all he said before he got up and walked out of the office once more making her wonder what exactly he had in mind. There were so many things he did just because he felt like it, but many things he planned, and if someone unknowingly interfered with those plans, well, it was their grave. He wasn known to be forgiving.

Right now he seems to be oddly fixated on two packs. The Hawthornes for some reason he didn disclose and the most powerful pack in the area, the one they have a mutual understanding with, the Dietrichs.

Then again, there was news of an omega who recently joined the Hawthornes pack, could he be the reason of the sudden interest? It certainly seemed possible, but she had work to do and didn have time to dwell on it.

Just as she said, there were four men locked in down at their basement and they were guarded by a few who glanced warily when they saw their dreaded visitor. One of them nodded his head and unlocked the door wordlessly.

Stepping in, there were four men inside. Three on the ground chained and one tied up to a chair looking petrified. Clearly he wasn a fighter.

Looking down at the three idiots chained up, the middle one fumbled with his gag before he spat the cloth away having it fall down to hang near his chest. ”Constantine, Listen, we were stupid, ok? ” He spoke too quickly and was shaking in his place. He looked young and afraid. ”We just didn think youd mind, honest. ”

Constantine didn bother to look at him as he looked around to survey the area. The room barely had anything he could use, so he walked out making everyone look at the door in bafflement, but it was soon replaced by fear when he returned with a hammer.

When he looked at their terrified expressions, he shrugged with a sigh. ”It was all I could find. ”

”Don – Don do anything, I told you, we- ”

”Is this the new guy? ” Constantine cut him off pointing at the trembling guy with the head of the hammer. He was staring down at him curiously. ”You
e the new guy, aren you? ”

The new guy nodded his head gagged and unable to verbally reply.

”Welcome. ” Constantine chuckled placing the head of the hammer on the ground and let go of it making it drop towards the new guy. The handle rested on him preventing the hammer from dropping to the ground fully and the new guy looked down at it in puzzlement. His hands were chained behind him, so he could only helplessly look at it.

Constantine just left it there for him to hold and he didn mind being a rack for a hammer if it meant hed live. Constantine then moved to the man on the chair. The three of them didn know who he was, but Constantine seemed to know something about him.

The moment the gag was removed from his face, the guy began to plead and sob for his life. ”I have a daughter, a family, I was only away for business matters. I will do anything just don kill me-ehgh. ”

The man sputtered when Constantine held his face with his hand making him stop talking immediately. He brought his face upwards to look at him and all the sobbing man could see was an unreadable face. ”Your new omega, whats his name? ”

The question was unexpected, and the man stared up at him before answering with reluctance. ”Eli. His name is Eli Rivers. ”

”So thats the snowflakes name. ” Constantine laughed backing away from the man before he walked back to get his hammer. ”Tell your alpha or whatever that I am planning to steal myself an omega. ”

Taken aback at the odd request, the man couldn help but nod having finally quieted down after learning that his life was going to be spared. He didn care about anything right now except to get out of this place alive.

Constantine, however, stood in front of the three like a disapproving parent and was resting his weight on the hammer. ”What you guys did was stupid. ”

The ungagged guys lips quivered while the other two couldn help but whimper. ”We know, we won do it again. ”

”I believe that. Now apologize to his man for kidnapping him. ” The guys wasted no time giving muffled apologies while the man stared at them not knowing what to make of the whole thing. All he wanted was to leave this wretched place. ”Next time think a bit more before you kidnap someone on another packs territory. It makes both packs mad at us. ”

”Yes, yes we will. ” The guy nodded frantically before Constantine grabbed one of his gagged companions and threw him on his back.

The guy let of a muffled scream before his head got bashed with a hammer multiple times until there was nothing but a bloody mess of brain and a cracked skull. The hammer had some brain matter on it by the time Constantine was done, and he looked down at the guy he just killed with a blank face.

The sound of the man retching and throwing up all over himself filled the stunned silence that just fell upon the room before Constantine threw the hammer away on the ground.

”And next time spot a traitor who makes you do something stupid. Got it, new guy? ”

The new guy slowly nodded his head with fearful eyes. The other one, however, looked more relaxed knowing that his chances of surviving are promising now. It was no secret that the Dietrichs pack are trying to cause tension all around even though they have some kind of understanding with their gang. Since the Dietrichs can get rid of them by force, they decided to be sneaky and send a rat.

It was a bonus that the Hawthornes would also be pissed at them.

”Shit. ” The guy slacked at the realization, but Constantine ignored it and turned to the man once again and laughed amusedly at the sighed of vomit all over him.

He then began to untie the man who dazedly moved his arm finally free from his restraints. ”How old is your daughter? ” Constantine asked genially as he helped him up on his feet and led him to the door with a hand pressed his back.

The man answered him eager get on his good side. ”Fourteen. ”

”If you still want to see her turn fifteen, you better keep this kidnapping thing a secret. ” Constantine told him pleasantly and the man choked with his face paling at the threat. Constantine turned to the two chained idiots and snorted. ”You two can stay here for another day. ”

”Oh thank god. ” The chained up guy exclaimed throwing himself on the ground in relief while his companion looked visibly relaxed.

The guard peeked inside the room and made a face at the bashed head before he called someone to clean the mess up.

It was a tame day for him considering Constantine decided to visit.
