One Piece The Strongest Warrior

Haku looked over at the young boy with eyes that contained a set of deep contemplation. Even though Leo seems to only be seven years old, to him, it is almost like he is talking to an adult.

This boy seems more mature than his peers, Haku thought. Then, giving Leo a small smile before saying, ”Well, how are you going to be stronger? ”

Hearing him say this, Leo stands to his side and gives a bow, ”Please teach me how to use a sword! ”

Haku stood up from his sitting position and put his large hand on the boys head with a beaming smile on his wrinkled face.

”Boy, do you truly want me to be your teacher, ” he asked. ”Im not going to go easy on you just because you
e a kid. If you
e going to be my student, then I will be strict as a teacher. ”

Leo gives a large smile, looking up from his hand, ”Im not afraid, hehe. Bring it on! ”

The two laughed together as the sun reflected over the warm ocean water in the distance. The ocean breeze floats towards their way.

Theres the taste of the sea salt in the breeze, with the sound of their laughter resounding as the waves crash on the shore.

Crouching discreetly on top of a tree, Haku pointed to a bunch of monkeys with silver hair and gleaming red eyes.

The monkeys seem to be playing with each other as they enjoy the fruits of the forests. But with his Level 1 Observation Haki, he notices that these monkeys are far stronger than him.

”Your first mission is to defeat the group of monkeys, ” Haku said to him casually.

”What?! Uh…Im not sure I can even land a punch on them before they gang up on me Old Man, ” Leo said, flabbergasted. ”Shouldn you be teaching me some swords style first? ”

”Don look down on yourself. You can do it, boy. ” Haku said with a playful grin that doesn look like it should belong to an old man. Haku grooms his beard as he thinks for a moment, ”It should take you roughly half a year. ”

His jaw dropped to the ground because he knew by half a year Haku meaning that he would get his ass handed to monkeys for the next couple of months. ”Can I choose some different opponents instead? ”

And from his back, he took a blade and handed it into the hands of Leo, ”Forgot to tell you, the skin of the monkeys is as hard as metal. So if your sword isn strong enough, you wouldn be able to penetrate their tough skin. ”

Damn you, Old Man, Leo thought to himself as he ground his teeth in anger. Basically, you
e telling me their skin is akin to wearing bulletproof jackets? What the hell! How am I going to fight anymore with my Level 0 skills?

Right now, Leo wants to throw away the blade and walk away.

”If you can keep persevering against them for three months, I would give you the first lesson, ” Haku said to him. And gives Leo a small kick in the butt as he is sent flying face-first into the middle of the monkeys.

”Oopsie, haha. ” Haku disappeared from his spot on top of the tree.

When Leo got up from his face imprinted on the ground, he noticed over a dozen pairs of red eyes staring him down as he began sweating like bullets. The only thing going on inside his mind is: Run!

The monkeys began chasing after him deep through the forest as he held onto his blade. He was running for his life.

”Dang it!! ” He noticed that there were no more routes for him anymore. In front of him is a vast mountain that folded his path.

”Whatever! For life or death, ” Leo pulls out the blade from its sheath as the monkeys circle all the escape routes in front of him. ”Those damn monkeys! From now on, you die, or I die. ”

In the next three months, through putting in extraordinary efforts, he slowly grew stronger and stronger. And he could slowly stand against the power of the monkeys ganging up on him.

He stands in the middle of the open field as four monkeys circle before him. In the group, a corpse of a silver-colored monkey is slain by his knife. The large jungle trees cast shadows on the ground as its old ravine hangs down.

From the side, a monkey jumped up to hit him, and he could block its sharp punch with his knife. Ever since he got the knife from Haku, he had been using it in every battle, and there are some small chips on the blade.

The blade would have been more damaged had he not learned to use Haki to shield the sword when he fights. Perhaps they would have broken it in half a long time ago. These bastard monkeys are no joke.

Leo doesn quite have an amicable relationship with his fellow neighbors. In this month that had gone by, he had plotted the monkeys countless times.

He would go into their hideouts and steal all the food they were storing. He did that to piss the monkeys off for what they did to him.

With his Haki, he could sense the opponents positions around him without turning around as he used his blade to fight them one by one.

But right now, he is still too weak as he noticed his attention wavering. Besides being out of breath, he also feels like his head is spinning from overusing his Haki.

I don have much energy left, he thought, looking around at the monkeys, who are also filled with scars on their bodies. But I can run. They are blocking my path.

”Spinning blade, ” with a wave of his knife, he cut right through the chests of the monkeys around him. The force of the knife wasn too deep but did scare them. Lastly, he used his Conquers Haki on their body.

”Scram, ” he said to them. The monkeys looked at each other with fear before fleeing off. Leo fainted on the ground when he noticed they were all gone.
