NARROW ESCAPE

The trees in the forest moved awkwardly as they danced to the tunes of the winds.The winds blew furiously making all Zaras paperwork fly like birds.She raised her head up high as she stared at the clock. ”Im late! ”she flung the door open as she quickly put on her clothes and combed her hair in a ponytail . ”Zara? Well be late ”Cole yelled.Cole was a year older than Zara and was the straight A hottie in school, unlike Zara, who was known to be a clinker by her mum and an extra idiot by people in her surroundings.

”Im coming! ”she replies but trips and fall down flat as Tingly stares at her,wagging its tail.

As they hurriedly got into the car,she wished to never meet her mum again as she always looked down on her.A call interrupted her thoughts and as she responded to it, she felt the next months before her graduation was going to be a nightmare.She had been repeated six times already and at her age, she was still in 6th grade. ”Zara? ”the person at the other end of the call spoke, ”Don you dare waste my time..get here immediately and I don want to waste any more time on such a mistake like you.Be fast! ”her mum hang up before she could speak.She was soo sad as she never noticed they were back at the Davingport mansion.

”Zara?!!! ”she heard someone mention her name once she got out from the car.It was her cousin, Rosie, whom lived her days in Tokyo learning to cooperate with her mums employees as her mum owned a big law firm in Tokyo. ”How was Cape Town? ”her eyes lit up and she awkwardly blushed,once she saw Cole.She ignored Zara and quickly held onto one arm of Coles. ”Why didn you tell me you were coming?I could have prepared your favorite food. ” ”Its of no use ”he replied. ”Would you like me to help with your luggages,Zara? ”he asked her as he stretched one of his fine arms to her. ”Its okay.Ill deal with it ”she slightly smiled as she stared at Rosie,who elbowed her in her ribs. ”Well leave now,Zara.He has to meet ma. ”

As Rosie majestically walked,Zara stared at her from behind.She was back home.The home to which she was declared a mistake.The home to which she was invincible and the home to which she was a failure.Truely,her days here was going to be a nightmare
