Late afternoon that day.

The snow that had been pouring for a while subsided, and the clear sky could finally be seen.
Nezar, having given up on his assignments, was on the way returning to his bedroom when he stopped.
At the end of the long hallway, obscured by his white shaky breath, someone came out of a room not far away and closed the door.

Quiet gait with large stature.
Eventually, the young man’s gaze turned to Nezar.
He was the only one with short platinum blonde hair amongst the three brothers, Eden Ezellot.
Nezar thought he would say something, but Eden just nodded his head without saying a word as he passed by him and disappeared.

As he had observed for the past few days, the four siblings in this family had different personalities, as if they were born from different parents.
Among them, Lockherd and Eden in particular felt like polar opposites.

Before he knew it, his feet had reached the front of the room where Eden came out.
Closing the door and turning her body, the maid bowed calmly to Nezar.

“Greetings to Your Highness.
Did you come to see Miss Kate?”

Nezar kept silent at the unexpected words.
The room where Eden Ezelot came out was his sister’s.
He thought she had a bad relationship with her brothers, but Eden must have been an exception.
When he didn’t answer, the maid continued.

“The lady has just fallen asleep.”

Now that he took a proper look, she was the maid who rushed out when Katrina was making a fuss about burning a stuffed bear.
Seeing the scene where they were together at that time, she seemed to have mistakenly thought that Nezar had come to visit her.
After thinking for a moment, Nezar opened his mouth.

“Then let me just take a look at her and come out.
I’ve been worried about her all yesterday.
It’s also a request from Lockherd.”

The maid looked puzzled at his words.

“Master Lockherd? That can’t be true…”

Of course it was a lie.
As expected of the maid with the highest salary, she was pretty quick-witted.
Still, a maid could not disobey the Crown Prince’s order.
Nezar quietly opened the door with his back to the maid.

Katrina’s bedroom had a particularly large window compared to the other rooms.
As if it was for an animal kept in captivity and was let bask in the sunlight as much as possible.

Like Eden, Nezar walked silently and stopped in front of the bed.
Katrina was deep asleep like a dead corpse.

“Daisy? Is Eden gone?”

Soon after, the lips of the said corpse moved slightly.

“If so then why did you come back in? I’m fine now.
You were up all night, hurry up and go to sleep, you idiot.”

“I am not Daisy.”

Katrina’s eyes flashed open widely.
Her pupils were immediately directed at Nezar, and her body, which had been buried under the blanket, jolted up.

“In-, intruder!”

“Intruder? It’s not a word that’s usually used in situations like this.
It would be more appropriate to call me a visitor.”

“Da-, Daisy! Daisy!”

Even though Nezar responded with a calm voice, Katrina was busy running around the bed and screaming.
At this rate, his eardrum would burst.
It seemed there was no need to worry about the condition of her body.
Nezar grabbed his forehead and sighed deeply.

“How can you be so loud if you’re sick? If you don’t want to worsen your illness, go lie down quietly under the blanket.
Don’t worry the people around you for no reason.”

Surprisingly, with those brief words, Katrina’s riot halted.
She glanced at Nezar, blinking quietly, then slowly lowered her body and curled her legs back into the blanket.
He did not know what she was thinking, but it only took half of a minute before she rested the back of her head on the pillow again.

Is she even the same person as that maniac yesterday?
