Chapter 6: The Station

“In other words, I’m already dead? Liu Hai and the others are dead too?”

“Almost.” Su Qingxing really admired Old Man Chen’s ability to accept it.
If another person had heard such an outrageous thing, they might have been scared to the point of dizziness.

The tour bus continued on its way, and after Old Mr.
Chen got tired of standing in the aisle, he found an empty seat next to the paper-doll in the second row and sat down to rest.

“Aren’t these paper-dolls scary?” Looking at Old Mr.
Chen, who was sitting next to the paper-cut figurines in deep thought, Su Qingxing asked with some curiosity.

Su Qingxing and Mr Chen were at the front of the bus and through the windscreen in front of them, they could see the mountain road at night and the headlights that illuminated it.

Then, just a short distance ahead of the bus, was a familiar looking station ……

Next to the stop, under the street lights, were three other very familiar looking figures desperately waving at the bus!

“It’s Liu Hai and the others who got off the bus earlier.” Old Mr.
Chen also got up on his cane, “How evil, this bus has been driving forward for so long, but it has returned to this station?”

Standing inside the carriage, Su Qingxing could even hear Liu Hai’s voice getting closer and closer to them.

“Stop the bus! Stop the bus!”

“Can you give us a lift to a nearby town?”

“Stop the bus!”

“Hee hee hee hee ……” Sitting in the driver’s seat of the bus was a much larger looking paper-doll who was now looking at Liu Hai and the others on the side of the road, while letting out a terrible laugh unique to paper-dolls .

“Squeak~~~~”

The paper-doll’s feet couldn’t even touch the brakes, but as the tour bus passed that station, the brakes were heavily stepped on by an invisible force, and Su Qingxing and Old Man Chen immediately steadied themselves amidst the inertia.

Seeing that the door of the bus was about to open, Su Qingxing suddenly asked Old Mr.
Chen a question, “Old man, how good are your acting skills?”

“Acting skills?” Chen Xiongbing was a little puzzled at first, but soon gave a smile of recognition and gave himself a thumbs up, “I’m the ‘movie star’ who managed to star in Romeo after defeating the entire community of old men in the community theater!”

The door creaked open and Su Qingxing gave Mr.

Or they were just glad to meet again.

There was also a vending machine underneath the street light with small items such as instant noodles and drinks.

After driving Old Mr.
Chen to another bench and letting Su Qingxing stand on guard, Liu Hai took over the whole bench by himself and stretched out before lying down comfortably.

After taking a good look at the station which was still calm for the time being, he took a few more steps and picked up the white dumpling from the grass.

It looked like a little white dog, and a very familiar one at that.

Su Qingxing remembered after thinking for a while that Zhu Sha had sent many short videos of little white dogs to his phone earlier, and that little white dog chasing his tail in circles was almost identical to the one in his arms!

Was it a coincidence?

The little white dog in Su Qingxing’s arms had a pair of beautiful eyes, and when it stared at Su Qingxing, it was particularly focused.
It was almost as if it was looking at its whole world, which made Su Qingxing, who was coming into contact with this kind of small animal for the first time, a little flattered.

Su Qingxing didn’t know much about dogs, so he couldn’t tell what breed this little white dog was.
He only felt that it looked cute and had a very nice fluffy feel to it.

Su Qingxing stretched out his finger and scratched the little white dog’s chin, then he found a small silver pendant hanging around the dog’s neck with the word “Si” written on it.

“Aawoo!” The little white dog’s voice didn’t sound like an ordinary dog, but Su Qingxing didn’t care too much about it, he just let Si Si keep rubbing himself into his arms, treating him as a normal small animal. 

But…… he was too affectionate, wasn’t it? It was just a promise to take care of him for a while, was he really that happy?

Although Su Qingxing thought so, he did not hate the closeness from the little one.

When Su Qingxing returned to the station with Si Si in his arms, he found Xu Yun, who was draped in his school uniform jacket, standing there with a bottle of drink.

“Su Qingxing.” Xu Yun greeted Su Qingxing with a smile after seeing him, her mood seemed to be much more relaxed than before, “Thanks for your help in the car.”

Xu Yun was just about to pass the drink in her hand to Su Qingxing when she saw this pretty boy who couldn’t speak holding a white puppy in his arms.

With that, Xu Yun was ready to extend her hand to pat Si Si’s little head.

Not only did he growl super fiercely, he also twisted his little head and leaned against Su Qing Xing’s shoulder.

Su Qingxing was only wearing a shirt at this moment, and the collar of the shirt was slightly open, so Si Si was leaning right at Su Qingxing’s collarbone.

Pressed against that spot of whiteness, Si Si even stuck out his little tongue……

In the end Su Qingxing still did not accept the bottle of drink that Xu Yun handed over.

Xu Yun was left out of both Si Si’s and Su Qing Xing’s life, and seemed to feel a bit bored, so she took her drink and went back to rest.

The vigil continued, but it was not too boring, as Su Qingxing was accompanied by Si Si.

Just as Su Qingxing was massaging Si Si’s little paws and fleshy pads, he saw a very familiar tour bus coming in the direction of the station.

As the bus was lit up with lights, Su Qingxing could easily recognise a paper-doll sitting in the driver’s seat, his face still sporting an exaggerated smile painted by colorful watercolors.

“Squeak~~”

Once again, the bus braked to a halt in front of the station.
