If it was difficult to understand, MC is just saying how he’d never heard Si Si make proper dog sounds and he had just assumed that Si Si was too young to be able to ‘talk’ properly, sorta like how babies lisp.

Si Si is being referred to with a gender neutral term that can mean ‘She’, ‘he’, or ‘it’, so I am a bit confused about how I should refer to him, so I’ll be interchanging ‘it’ and ‘him’ depending upon whether his actions are human-like and whether it’s others referring to him or not.

IDK it was originally written like this in the raws….
in uppercase and in English…..
maybe because the man spoke this word in English, while emphasizing on it…..
