each other on WeChat, but the two had never chatted till now.
Though, they would like each other’s posts on Moments.
For example, Ruan An’an had posted a picture last night that was only visible to him, and it did not take long for him to see and like it.

Ruan An’an laid on the bed and turned over, “What should I say…”

She stared at the beautiful hand in his profile picture, wondering what words could be appropriate to euphemistically ask him for the reason for his absence.

Speaking of the devil, a message popped out on the originally blank dialog box.

Ruan An’an was so surprised that she almost threw the phone out.

When she calmed down and looked —

GJ: [Are you free?]

… How could I be busy?

Ruan An’an immediately replied: [Yes?]

GJ: [Although it sounds a little too forward to say this…]

GJ: [Can you send me a photo? Of you.]

… Send a photo?

… What for?

Ruan An’an was willing to do it, of course she would be happy to send photos to a man that she likes.
However, she was very curious, and for a moment she forgot to ask him why he didn’t attend class.

She typed speedily: [Yes, but why do you want it suddenly? *doubt*]

GJ: [Voice Message]

…F̲u̲c̲k̲, why the hell is he sending a voice message directly!

And it’s a full fifteen second voice message!

Ruan An’an bit her lip, took a deep breath before tapping on the voice note, and then immediately put the phone to her ear—

“I didn’t go to class today.” Gu Jue’s voice was slightly cracked, with the usual nasally drowsy voice that sent tingles to her ears, “… It’s really nothing special,” His tone was very casual as he continued, “I won’t be able to see you today and I’m not used to it”

“…”
