Perhaps because they made too much noise and disturbed the neighbors next door, a woman in her early thirties opened her courtyard door and came out.

Su Xiaoxiao asked politely, “We are looking for Aunt Fu.
May I ask if she’s there?” 

The woman said calmly, “I’m not sure about that.

After she finished speaking, she entered her house.

There was something wrong.

Su Xiaoxiao frowned.

When she went to find Luo Dazhuang to settle the bill in the morning, she didn’t see Aunt Fu.
In the afternoon, she wasn’t there either.
She didn’t run a stall all day, so where would she go if she wasn’t at home?

“Ergou, climb and go inside!” 

Su Ergou was stunned and said, “Huh? Jie1, this, this is not very good, right? Aren’t we going to stop extorting money?”

Su Xiaoxiao asked strangely, “What does it have to do with extorting money?” 

Su Ergou’s expression became even more indescribable: “Don’t tell me you want to steal money?” 

Su Xiaoxiao became speechless and held her forehead: “I want you to go in and see if Aunt Fu is there.”

Su Ergou said, “Then I’ll go in.”

After a while, Su Ergou opened the dilapidated door with a ‘bang’ and said, “Jie! Something happened to Aunt Fu!” 

Su Ergou found Aunt Fu in the open space in the backyard.

A type of dry pickled chinese mustard.
The pickle consists of a whole head of various varieties of chinese mustards and cabbages that has undergone an elaborate process consisting of drying, steaming, and salting.
The vegetables are harvested, trimmed before the Qingming Festival, and sun-dried until limp.
It is then salted or brined, kneaded until the juices are exuded, and left to ferment in large clay urns for 15 to 20 days.
The vegetable is then repeatedly steamed and dried until reddish brown in color and highly fragrant.

“What’s the smell?” Su Ergou sniffed.

“Kitchen!” Su Xiaoxiao said.

Su Ergou hurriedly went to the kitchen to have a look, “Oh my god! The pot is all burnt through!” 

Su Xiaoxiao squatted down.

Apparently, It seemed that Aunt Fu was going to take the washed Meigan cai to the kitchen to cook.
However, it was freezing and snowy.
So she slipped and fell.

She tried to get up by herself, but perhaps because she was too old or because she fell too hard, so she couldn’t get up.

Doctor Fu was not here, and her relationship with the neighbors was not very harmonious…… 

In the end, she just passed out in the snow like this.

“Jie! Is Aunt Fu still breathing? Give way, I will move her into the house!” 

“Don’t move her yet, I will check her first.”

So he could understand what kind of chopped firewood his older sister wanted.

Su Ergou said, “Jie, you even remember this!”

Su Xiaoxiao made a simple treatment for Aunt Fu’s leg and said, “Be careful when you lift it later.” 

People who were frozen stiff were prone to secondary fractures.

Su Ergou brought an old door panel over together.

The siblings carefully carried Aunt Fu back to her bed with the door panel.

Aunt Fu’s situation was very bad.
