Esper Hero Chapter 1: My Demons!

”Finally, We are at the lair of the people that caused this Apocalypse, ” Alex said, dusting his trousers.

”You have Superpowers. We could have just flown here. ” His Girlfriend, Nila said. Nilas skin was pale and she too had Superpowers, She could control the movement of things with her mind, generally defying everything in Physics.

These were just your average characters trying to put a stop to the Apocalypse that had controlled their planet for long enough, A Pale Skinned Man and Woman emerged from the Lair entrance. They wore red robes and if Alex wasn seeing things, Nila looked like the Woman.

”Honey, Looks like our Daughter is back. Have you had enough? ” The Man said.

”Yes, ” Nila said, casting a wicked glare.

”Wait, They are your parents? Why haven you told them about me yet. ” Alex said in surprise.

”Sorry about that, ” Nila said, rubbing her foot against the ground.

Alex was shrouded in a White aura as he faced the Parents of Nila.

”You are the one that brought this Ghoul apocalypse onto this planet, ” Alex said, His hair was wavering as though his Aura was the fire.

”Thats where you are wrong. It was not us that caused this apocalypse. ” The woman said.

”Who caused it? ” Alex demanded. His aura was flaring even higher.

”It was me, ” Nila said. Alexs aura flared down.

Before he even turned around, The Family combined an energy wave to destroy him. Even though he was Invincible, The attack pierced through him. He turned to Nila and communicated with her, telepathically.

Why would you do this? He asked through his mind.

”I want to. I hate you, Alex! ” She cackled.

The energy wave dissolved Alex into Nothingness.

”You have finally Embraced your lineage as one of us. ” Her father said. He felt a Dreadful aura coming from her. His eyes widened.

”I hate all of you! ” Nila shouted. Her hand emanated in purple and released a deadly beam that killed her father and mother. She reclaimed the throne that her Father and Mother had and began to reign terror on Humans.

Such a Saddening twist.

——–IN THE OTHERWORLD—-

The Other-world, also known as the Land of the dead. After Humans or Living things die, They do not fade out of existence but rather their spirits come here where they are separated to go to Hell or Heaven or even in between.

It had been a month after Alexs death and the spirits there planned to rally and come back to the Human world to stop the trouble Nila was bringing. More and more bodies were coming to the Other-world, In just a matter of time, The Other-world would be filled with Spirits and eventually overflowing leading to a distortion in the balance of the Space-time continuum.

Alex and some other souls were in the court of King Feds (He was the one that was going to analyze the souls that he was going to bring back to life to fight against Nila and her empire)

The Other souls which were once powerful warriors as they had quipped, had no power whatsoever according to King Feds. King Feds began analyzing Alex.

”No way, attaining such power is impossible. ” King Feds said and moved back.

”He is the one that is going to save the universe. ” King Feds announced.

”No, Im not, ” Alex said, putting everyone in silence.

King Feds felt his emotions and put his hands on Alexs shoulders.

”Do you remember your Origin as an Esper? ” King Feds asked.

——FLASHBACK——–

Alex was talking with his Friends in class, At that time, He was an ordinary boy with big dreams. Alex even had a High school Crush, He had been dubbed ”The Man Of Lies ” by ladies.

Alex had a traditional lie, He said he could withstand any blow given to him. No one even dared to try and touch him because they knew he was lying.

The Day where this lie became a reality was the day the Apocalypse began, and it was right in the middle of school.

A Demon came true the window and that was the prequel, The Earth began to shake and crack. The demon turned to Alexs classmates.

”Who is the one that can withstand any attack? ” It asked.

They all pointed to Alex. Alex was trembling, It had been a lie. He felt pain now. He now hated his personality.

The Demon landed a devastating punch on his Chest causing his shirt to rip.

”Is this the one that said He could Withstand any attack? ” The Demon asked.

Alex was on the ground, He couldn move at all. It was almost like his body was lifeless. His eyes were closed. But slowly, His eyes began to open. His Crush was crying for him, She liked him as well.

”You won Break me, ” Alex muttered. The Demon heard and opened his eyes.

”I won Take this, ” Alex muttered. The Demon took a step back.

”You won Break me, ” Alex said. Everyone heard him.

”I won take this!! ” Alex shouted and rose. He had given in to the temptation of his demons and he had gained Serious power. His eyes were flaring with rage.

”NO!!!! ” The Demon shouted. Alex took hold of its wings and tore them off its back with his newfound Inhumane strength. The Demon dissolved into Nothingness.

Alex made an oath on that day.

I swear to protect this planet and make it peaceful again.

Alex shook back to his senses.

”I remember everything. It is so clear now. ” Alex said.

”So are you still going to save the world? ” King Feds asked.

”Yes, ” Alex said. At that moment, His Halo vanished. He was alive again. His body disassembled.

He was on his way to Planet Earth.
