Chapter 79 – Family

Alvin returned to the second floor, only to find Jessica sitting in her pajamas at the door of her room, dozing off with a double-barreled shotgun in her arms.

Alvin’s eyes were a little sore.
Jessica must have not rested well in the past two days.
She knew what happened and what Alvin was doing.
She would worry, but she would not persuade Alvin but hide her worry and anxiety in her heart.

This was a girl from Hell’s Kitchen, who took on the burden of protecting her family by herself when the man wasn’t home.

Alvin was very proud of the family he had.

He walked up to Jessica and rubbed her head with a smile.

Jessica was really tired.
When she found out that Alvin was back, she was completely relaxed.
She hugged one of Alvin’s arms and bumped her head on it like a vent.

Alvin smiled and hugged Jessica’s shoulder, and said softly, “Go to sleep! I’m back!”

Jessica rolled her eyes at Alvin, made a soft hum sound with her nose, turned around, and pushed the door into her room open.

Alvin shook his head with a smile, slowed down, and returned to his room.

Under the warm wall lamp, Alvin found Ginny lying on his bed under the quilt, only showing a pair of eyes and fluffy hair.

Those fawn-like eyes were wide open, staring in the direction where Alvin came in.

The little girl had not slept because her father had not been home for two days, and she missed her father.

Alvin’s heart was warm, and it felt really good that someone was caring and someone was waiting, and the tiredness of busy days seemed to have disappeared.

He walked quickly to the bed, touched Ginny’s little head, and kissed her forehead.
The little girl laughed with a giggle, hugged her father’s face and gave him a heavy kiss, and said, “Dad, go home.
, Ginny, wait for Daddy!”

Alvin smiled, pinched Ginny’s nose, and said dotingly, “Go to sleep! Daddy is back!”

Maybe the little girl was really tired and gave her dad a sweet smile.
Holding her father’s arm, she quickly fell asleep.

Nick, who should have gone to bed long ago, was lying on the window sill in the attic, watching Frank finish moving things before quietly closing the window and going to bed.

Nick didn’t know how bright the smile on Frank’s face was and how proud he was when he turned his back on him.

How could Frank not see that Nick was peeking? It’s just that Frank how to respond to this kind of concern.
He had fought all his life, but he lacked the money and knowledge to deal with the concern of his son.

………………

In Manhattan, the center of New York, Kingpin stood in front of the window of his office on the 65th floor of the Empire State Building.

A middle-aged man with blond hair was reporting to him what happened today.

“Over 120 people died in the Hand today, all of them being their backbone in New York.
Two warehouses were burned, one of which contained 2 tons of cocaine that was about to be delivered to us.
Mrs.
Gao was very angry.
She called me just now and wanted to know who was targeting them.”

Kingpin stared at the night view of Manhattan outside the window and said, “The Hand is over, don’t pay attention to them, and let them return the deposit I paid them.”

The blond middle-aged man felt very strange and said: “The Hand has been working with us for a long time! Isn’t it a little anxious to give up the cooperation with the Hand Society just because the two guys in the afternoon came?
And our losses will be too great, the Columbia channel we took over from Bloody Johnson is not stable, and we will lose a lot of money without the Hand.
Mrs.
Gao has issued a must-kill order, and all the killers in the Hand are tracking down the two people today, and I think they will kill them soon.

Kingpin turned his fat body, looked at the blond man in front of him, didn’t explain much to him, and said in a deep voice, “Do as I say, go and get my money back.
They don’t even know who their enemy is? What can they do? James, you are a smart guy and I don’t want to tell you a second time.
Now, get out! ”

The middle-aged man James nodded respectfully, turned, and left Kingpin’s office.
Although he was surprised by Kingpin’s decision, he would not disobey Kingpin’s order.

Because he knew what would happen if he disobeyed an order, and that was a picture that wasn’t even in his worst nightmares.

Kingpin turned around and stared at the night scene outside.
In fact, he didn’t expect Alvin’s counterattack to come so quickly and so fiercely!

Perhaps the importance of the community school should be taken up a notch.
That was an important link between him and Alvin.

And Alvin was someone that Kim definitely didn’t want to be an enemy of.
Fortunately, Alvin’s performance had been moderate so far, and he had no intention of interfering in the New York underground order.

Kingpin didn’t know that what happened yesterday was just Frank and JJ’s own actions, and Alvin wasn’t involved.

“Maybe, I should give him a little help!”

………………

The next morning, Alvin was sitting in the dining room eating breakfast.
The school’s vice-principal, Nelson, called and said,

“Principal Alvin, that Danny Rand left yesterday with the seriously injured woman Colin, saying that he was going to retrieve the children who were sent away.”

Alvin took a sip of coffee and said, “Then let them go, it’s their responsibility.”

“But old Parker went with him, and I’m a little worried about him.
That Danny Rand doesn’t look easy to mess with.”

Alvin glanced at Ginny who had eaten the cereal up her nose, wiped it for her, and said, “It doesn’t matter, they all owe Old Parker, it was Old Parker who saved their lives!
But you, what the hell happened to that Ward Meacham the day before yesterday? He actually told me that he took the land of the community school and wanted to build a factory.
Is his brain broken?
You know how important the school dormitory program is, I need a clear message today, I want to know what the hell is going on! ”

Nelson on the other end of the phone was a little nervous and said, “I see, don’t worry, I called my friend at City Hall yesterday, and he will tell me today about Ward Meacham and the Rand Group, and what the hell is going on!”

Alvin said: “So be it! I’ll wait for your news, Headmaster Nelson.”

After speaking, Alvin hung up the phone and picked up the newspaper.
All the front pages of the newspapers were about the fight at the gate of Stark Tower last night.

It seemed that Stark’s trouble was coming, an uncontrolled rich man with weapons that were far more advanced than even the American military, which would make many people unable to sit still.

Unless Stark was willing to sell the steel suit, or share the technology of the steel suit.

However, with Alvin’s understanding of Stark and the movies he watched in his previous life, Stark would not let those people succeed.

What the specific process was, it must not be as simple as just a hearing in the movie!

But that’s not what Alvin wanted to care about.
He was more concerned about the actions of Frank and JJ yesterday, and because of Stark, only a few newspapers reported the intense gunfights that took place in New York City yesterday.

Alvin yawned comfortably, watched Ginny and Nick finish their breakfast, and decided to take them out for a walk after school was over.

There had been a lot of things going on recently, but it didn’t seem like a good idea for the children to go out without taking them out on vacation!

Maybe Los Angeles was a good choice!
