Alvin rubbed his chin, grinned at Coulson, and said, “I think $1 million is a reasonable number.”

Coulson covered his heart heavily as if he had been hit hard. He said with difficulty: “You are kidding, Mr.
Ye, S.H.I.E.L.D.
will never pay $1 million for this matter.
It is absolutely impossible, in fact, I was ready to pay out of my own pocket.
But Mr.
Ye, $1 million is too high.
That’s my salary for ten years.”

Alvin ignored Coulson’s sympathetic performance and said coldly: “You mean the reputation of S.H.I.E.L.D.
is not worth a million dollars, right? Maybe you should call and ask for advice, I am not interested in your salary.
Or we could go through legal channels to resolve this matter.”

Foggy jumped up excitedly and shouted loudly: “Alvin, sue them, sue them!” It was no wonder that he was so excited, this was the biggest business their law firm had encountered since it opened.

Coulson glared at Natasha helplessly and turned to a corner to make a call.
Obviously, the call gave him an earful of scolding.
After hanging up, Coulson returned to the bar in dismay and said embarrassedly: “$500,000, no more, I have to go back and write more than 15 reports for this.
If you don’t agree, we will see you in court.” After that, he picked up the wine glass on the bar and drank the beer inside, looking like a broken jar.

Alvin glanced at Matt’s gently shaking fingers, knowing that Coulson was lying. After thinking for a moment, he said, “Agent Coulson, this price is too far from what I expected.” He glanced at Foggy.

Foggy jumped up knowingly and shouted: “Alvin hand it over to me, this is a must-win lawsuit, and I can talk about compensation of more than $3 million.”

“That’s impossible.
S.H.I.E.L.D.
doesn’t have that many extra funds.
You will only drag on the lawsuit without limit.” Coulson cried in panic. “Mr.
Ye, I can apologize again, please forgive us.”

“It doesn’t matter to me that the lawsuit drags on, Agent Coulson.” Alvin said noncommittally, “However, it’s not non-negotiable.
I can agree to $500,000 in compensation, but SHIELD has to agree to a few conditions.

When Coulson heard the word condition, he felt very bad, and he felt like he was going to get on a pirate ship. But now he could only bite the bullet and say: “Please tell me, I may not be able to agree.”

Ye Qing snapped his fingers and said, “First, the police station here is outdated and needs a new batch of equipment.
You can see that Michael is still using an old gun from ten years ago.
They don’t have high requirements, as long as you eliminate the old equipment and sponsor a batch of new vehicles, weapons, and equipment? Don’t worry, they will write a letter to the mayor to praise you.”

Michael and Scott didn’t expect that Alvin’s first request was for them. This made the two policemen both happy and moved.
The city government almost always neglected its sub-bureaus.
Except for the annual allocation of funds and salaries to the police, everything else, updated equipment, promotions and salary increases, they were all without them. The dilapidated police station didn’t even have a decent gate. Alvin’s first condition was for them, how could they not be moved.

Coulson glanced at Alvin suspiciously.
He thought he would face some excessive conditions, but the result was beyond his expectations.
Coulson nodded happily and agreed.
S.H.I.E.L.D.
would eliminate a large amount of equipment every year.
As a level 7 S.H.I.E.L.D.
agent the right on making decisions on these conditions was still there.

Seeing that he agreed readily, Alvin said with a smile: “It seems that we can easily reach an agreement.
Second, the kindergarten that is being built on our street corner needs a batch of security monitoring equipment.
I believe this is not a problem for S.H.I.E.L.D..”

Coulson breathed a sigh of relief and looked around.
Everyone in the restaurant looked at Alvin reverently.
Coulson adjusted his collar and said seriously: “You are a real gentleman, let’s get to know each other again.
Phil Coulson, level 7 agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Nice to meet you, Mr.
Alvin Ye.” After he reached out and shook hands with Alvin, the feeling of being blackmailed was relieved a lot.

Alvin said with a smile, “Looks like you agree?”

“Yes, compared to other conditions, this is hardly a condition,” Coulson said sternly.

“The third and most important.” Alvin looked at Coulson seriously.

“Please say it!” Coulson was attentive.

Alvin looked at Coulson, tapped Natasha with his hand, and said, “I hope you can stay away from me and my restaurant in the future, okay?”

Coulson was stunned for a moment, embarrassed and didn’t know what kind of expression to make.
Just now he had such a good impression of him, and the other party gave him a heavy blow. He thought the two sides could have a peaceful end, but in the end it backfired. Sighing, Coulson said helplessly: “I can’t promise anything, I can only promise that we won’t come to trouble you for no reason.”

Alvin nodded and said, “That’s enough, Foggy, hand over the receipt of the $500,000 to Agent Coulson.” Alvin waved at Foggy.

“See you not soon, Agent Coulson, Agent Natasha.” Alvin nodded to the two agents, and finally waved, signaling to see them off.

Foggy and Coulson exchanged phone numbers to discuss the payment of compensation. Jessica happily sent the two agents out of the door. When they went out, they also imitated Alvin’s tone and said, “See you not soon.”

Watching the two S.H.I.E.L.D.
agents exit the restaurant in embarrassment the diners in the restaurant gave each other high-fives and cheers.
They were all residents of Hell’s Kitchen and have never been respected by government officials. Yet Alvin was victorious in the confrontation, which excited them as if the victor was themselves.

Alvin smiled and explained to Jessica, “Everyone gets one free beer!” The cheers grew louder as soon as he finished speaking.

Alvin, was holding a glass of beer in front of Matt, flicked his index finger on the glass, and the glass made a “ding” sound, “Thank you! Matt, you’ve been very helpful today.”

Matt looked up, smiled, and raised his glass, “You deserve it! Alvin, you made the two surrounding neighborhoods better, and as a resident of Hell’s Kitchen, I should support you.
For victory!”

Alvin smiled and clinked a glass with him, and said, “For victory!” After he drank a large glass of beer, Alvin looked at Matt worriedly, hesitated for a moment, and said, “Maybe you should take a rest, Matt.
You’re not an iron man, jumping around in Hell’s Kitchen every night is not what a normal person should do.”

Matt put down the drinking glass, a blush appeared on his white face, and said with a smile, “Then you should let your pet’s range of activities expand a bit, which can reduce some of my workloads.”
