Choi Si-woo swiped to the first name on the list and placed the Notepad on the table. Smiling warmly at the trainees, he said, ”we have been at this for a while, I must applaud your patience. You are all talented young ladies but sadly we can not debut you all. I wish we could ”, that got a smile out of everyone.

He continued, ”it is getting late so I won waste any of your time. We already have two vocalists, a rapper and a dancer. There is only one spot left and sadly it is not a vocal role but a rap position ” he glanced at the Female manager standing at the side, ”let us get started ”.

The female staff member who had escorted the trainees into the room nodded and came forward, looking down at her tablet called the first trainee forward.

A girl in a brown tracksuit went first but was cut short as soon as she began, Choi Si-woos brows twitched at the girls irritating nasal tone. While the nasal tone could work well enough in rapping, the trainee sounded like her nostrils were clogged. He stroked her name off the list, ”I think that is enough Miss Yoo, exit the stage ”.

Miss Yoos lower lips shook as a single tear rolled down her eye, she wiped her eyes with the back of her mauve-coloured blouse, bowed and hurried down the stage.

The door shut with a bang as she ran out of the room. Choi Si-woo shook his head as he watched her lose her composure, low endurance, clearly not idol material, he thought as the trainee ran out of the room crying.

The Other judges were as displeased as he was. The manager in charge of the trainers immediately took note of the trainee. Choi Si-woo swiped to the next trainees profile, ”Miss Hwang, you are up next ”.

Hwang Nari stepped forward and bowed, ” Hello, I am Hwang Nari ”.

The Director of Management team 4, Director Yang glanced at her profile and clicked his teeth, The old trainee ”, he muttered. He turned to the other judges seated at the table, ”It is getting late, do we even have time to waste on her, she is not a rapper. Her statistics already disqualified her. it is better to skip to the three that can rap ” he swiped to the next profile after Naris.

Choi Si-woo frowned, he glared at the side profile of one of his most difficult directors. Hwang Nari was not a strange name to him, she was familiar to him thanks to the frequent performance evaluation he had overseen over the past five years he had held his position.

Hwang Nari held in the tears threatening to escape her eyes, she smiled and replied, ”Thank you Director ”, Hwang Nari maintained a calm expression as she bowed and left the room.

She held in the tears and walked briskly to the elevator, the elevator was in use, so she pressed the button and looked up to monitor the elevators movement.

Minutes later, the elevator arrived at her floor and the door slid open. There were already two female staff and a male staff member in the elevator, she bowed at their staff as she got in.

She clicked on the sixth floor, where the dance studio of a few of the companys artists was located and leaned on the elevator wall. She hoped to get into a vacant dance room and cry her heart out in there.

Most of the dance studios were vacant since a majority of the active artists under GK Entertainment had tight schedules that kept them out of the company 5 out of the seven days of the week.

She stepped out of the elevator as soon as the door opened, the staff members in the elevator paid her no mind. GK Entertainment had a lot of trainees and artists, it was normal to run into a few trainees or artist especially on the sixth floor since the practice room for most of the companys active groups were located on that floor.

She didn run into anyone as she walked down the hallway, she checked the door locks for an available room but unexpectedly a majority of the practice rooms were locked finally she came upon an unlocked room.

She turned the doorknob and walked into the room, she ran into the room and sat on the floor. she brought up her legs to her chest and resting her head on her knees burst into tears.

DJ KOs NIGHTCAP, HBC FM radio Booth 5.

At the underground visual radio booth of one of the biggest radio stations in Seoul. A tall man in black jeans, a white polo shirt, wine red leather jackets and white sneakers was seated on the backless high stool beside the Dj.

Song Tae-Eun sat on the cushioned movable seat next to the host of the radio show, DJ Ko Manse. He smiled at the camera as he answered the instant speed questions submitted by his fans

That was the last game he would take part in before the program came to an end. Although a few of the questions were a little uncomfortable, he maintained his friendly smile.

Song Tae-Eun has been in the industry for over ten years, he skillfully manoeuvres the questions like a pro. This was his first radio show after getting discharged from the military, his company had set it up to announce his return to his fans. .

The radio program was teased for five days, during which fans were asked to submit their questions on the radio programs website. He felt a little rusty in the beginning after spending a year and a half serving in the military but He quickly got acquainted with everything.

After an hour, they were gradually nearing the end of their time slot. DJ Ko picked up the envelope containing the final question and grinned, ”we are now down to the final questions for the night ”, he glanced at Song Tae-eun, ”Your fans missed you, look at all the questions. They are so concerned, I am a little jealous of my Hoobae right now. When I got back from the military seven years ago, the reception I got was not even up to half of yours. it is like I have no fan ”.

Song Tae-eun laughed, his shoulders shaking, ”Sunbaenim is just trying to flatter me, if you had no fans why is your program still ongoing. I am also one of your fans ”.

Hahaha, ”I won , I won disappoint you and the rest of my fans ” he looked down at the envelope, ”wow, we had so much fun, wish we could stay longer but that is alright. You can always visit me again, I would like to have you on my show again ”.

”Me too, Sunbaenim ”.

”Hopefully, you could stay longer next time ”, he unsealed the envelope and pulled the card out, ”I will read the last question ”.

Tae-eun tighten and loosened his left hand which was hidden out of the sight of the camera on seeing DJ Kos sidelong glances at the viewing glass where the producer and scriptwriter of the show observed the show.

He has taken a risk to come here on a show with a producer as tricky as Producer Lee. The company made a huge fan fair of his return from the military to put an end to all the negative rumours surrounding his group.

DJ Ko glanced towards the mirror at his side as his gaze fell on the question written on the card. He glanced at Tae-eun and swore under his breath but under his producers urging from the earphone.

He moved closer to the microphone on the table in front of him, ”the last question is from a fan from Busan. it says, Tae-eun-Oppa now that you are back from the military, are you going to go on as a member in Hex or go solo. I think you should go solo, don stay in that group except they are ready to kick out that Yu Seok. I swear he is pulling the group down, it is better to cut off that weak link ”.

DJ Ko exchanged an apologetic gaze with don Tae as he read the question, to which Song Tae-eun responded with a smile. He was seasoned in dealing with fans like this, there was no change in his expression. it was the balled-up fist hidden at his side that betrayed his real feelings.

”The rumours must have left you worried but there is no need to be worried, they are just rumours. Hex is like family and as a family, we stand together. We have spent more than a decade together when you add our trainee days and our debut days. We are one family and honestly, I thank our fans, Auras for their unyielding support throughout these years we have been together. I look forward to producing music together with my brothers, thanks for your support ”.

”Wow that was so inspiring, you even gave me goosebumps. Not that I am surprised, I have known you all for years and I envy the trust and close friendship between you all. I am looking forward to your next comeback as a full group ”.

Song Tae-eun and DJ Ko waved at the camera until the camera was turned off. The smile fell off their faces as the camera was turned off, they stood and exchanged a formal bow.
