”I did too! you have no idea how you made me a better person! ” Jin said, he stopped cooking and walked closer to Nikolai leaving a small gap between them.

Flustered by his closeness, Nikolai turned his face away from Jin ”Whatever, its been seven years…I don feel that way anymore. ” he said in a cold manner.

”I am not who I used to be anymore, You know seven years is a long time. ” Jin replied.

”I know, thanks to you Jin in these seven years I changed a lot, I lost weight and gained trust issues. ” Nikolai replied, he turned his head to face Jin who started chuckling, ”whats so funny? ” Nikolai asked.

Looking him in the eyes, ”You used to be so cute when you were chubby Niko, squishy like a plushie. ” Jin said, he did his best to hold back from pinching Nikolais cheeks like he used to do in the past.

Glaring at Jin ”Talk about yourself! you were quite skinny back then, Moses pushed you around like a toothpick…now you look like a club bouncer. ” Nikolai said.

”I Decided to go to the gym, I needed it for many reasons like the job, it helped my mental health too. ” Jin explained.

”Speaking of the gym, I have a working out room in my house, you can use it. ”

”Thanks, Ive seen that room yesterday when I checked the house…your house is like a safe haven for an introvert like me, you have everything you need to stay here. ”

e an introvert? since when? ” Nikolai asked skeptical, ”I changed a lot, i became that way…I don know how to socialize like a normal person anymore. ” Jin replied.

Raising an eyebrow at him, ”Im starting to see why Andrea approved of you.

The funny thing, that even with a house like mine, I feel more comfortable outside. ” Nikolai said.

Unable to tolerate Jins closeness to him, Nikolai mustered up the courage to walk few steps away from him.

Pulling a kitchen chair, Nikolai sat down while still giving Jin the same cold look in his eyes.

”You seem to hate the idea of staying home, do you have somewhere You like to go to? ” Jin asked.

”I wanted to go to the beach, but Andrea wouldn let me alone nor come with me, he wants me to use the pool instead…he doesn know I hate pools. ”

”Want to go then? with me? ”

”now? ” Nikolais eyes went slightly more open at Jins suggestion, ”we can do that? ” he added asking.

Nodding, ”Yeah if you want, we can go somewhere with no people around. ” Jin replied.

Sighting, ”I don know…Im too worried about Andrea to be going anywhere now. ” Nikolai said frowning a bit, ”you still love the beach as much as you did in highschool…you always talked about owning a house by the beach, and wanting to learn how to surf…even though you couldn swim. ” Jin said chuckling.

”I Know how to swim now, thanks to your bully friends. ” Nikolai replied, this conversation made that terrifying memory flashed back in his mind.

”PLEASE DONT DO THIS! IM BEGGING YOU LET ME GO! ” Nikolai begged screaming as two guys carried him to the pool.

A third guy, a big blonde boy with bigger muscles and a terrifying scar over his nose, walked casually while smoking a cigarette, laughing at every attempt Nikolai tried to in order to save himself.

It was Moses king, literally the king of the bullies in Nikolais highschool and no one was able to go against the guy, not just because he was a big scary kid, but because his uncle was the headmaster of the school, covering up for his nephews bullying all the time.

The two boys carrying Nikolai, were his underlings, both tall and big but not as bulky and scary as Moses.

One of them was a ginger head with a light mustache and freckles all over his face, his name was Rudy Bay.

While The other underling was a basic white kid with brown hair, and a beanie over his head, his name was Flint Miles.

”PLEASE LET ME GO ALREADY! WHAT DID I DO TO YOU! ” Nikolai cried out, ”Cmon Niko! lighten up a little buddy! we
e having fun here. ” Rudy said sarcastically while giggling.

”Can we just drop him already?! this fat bitch keeps kicking me and I can keep carrying him forever! ” Flint whined, ”hold on for a while, I love hearing him scream and yell for Help…even though he knows, nobody will be able to save him! ” Moses replied laughing even harder.

Jin felt like someone was stabbing his heart, as he saw how Nikolai was screaming and crying to be set free.

”Jin…JIN?! PLEASE HELP ME! ” Nikolai cried out, ”Jin! perfect timing! its a hot day today, so we want to help our Buddy Niko cool off since hes sweating Alot! ” Moses said with a sinister smile.

e after! aren you tired of this? ” Jin spoke up, ”Why? you wanna save your boyfriend so bad?! ” Moses spoke mockingly before bursting into laughter again, with his underlings laughing with him.

”LET HIM GO! ”

”or what Jin? are you going to punch me? maybe beat me up so I won hurt anyone else again? ” Moses mocked, he walked closer to Jin blocking him from helping Nikolai as Jin was not match to Moses in strength at that time.

The king of bullies looked Jin in the eyes, enjoying the look of absolute hate in Jins jet black eyes when he began speaking again in a grandiose manner, as if he was really a king ”I am the king of this school, and all of you are my Royal subjects!…It is I who decide everyones fate in this place. ” Moses said.

”Moses…theres someone who died yesterday because of you! YOU FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT! and here you are playing princess!

You skipped classes today so you weren there when the teacher announced that Julian baker, the guy you tore off the only photo album he had of his dead Mom last week, killed himself yesterday!

Glancing over, Jin noticed the horrified expression on Nikolais face as he heard about Julians death, since Nikolai was very close with Julian, both being the outcasts of the school.

”That **er did what now? Julian just had to drag me down even when hes dead. ” Moses said rolling his eyes, ”Shit! what if we get punished for this? I told you tearing off that album was a bad idea! Julians uncle is a cop! he will never let this go. ” Rudy spoke up terrified.

”Stop being a bitch, I got an uncle too! and as long as my uncle got my back, not even the Bakers can get me. ” Moses said confident.

Disgusted by Moses lack of empathy, ”just like I thought…you don have a **ing heart you monster! ” Jin spoke up, ”At least let Nikolai go! you don want Somebody else getting hurt! you know he can swim! ” he added trying to get over to Nikolai but couldn go past Moses.

”A dive in the pool won hurt our Niko, as much as knowing the truth about his boyfriend will. ” Moses said.

”Somebody is about to get a bombshell dropped on him! ” Rudy cheered, ”LET HIM GO! ” Jin screamed fed up with their games.

”WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU CRAZY ASSHOLES TALKING ABOUT! LET ME GO ALREADY! JIN PLEASE WHY ARENT YOU HELPING ME! ” Nikolai screamed again.

”Of course he wouldn help you! did you forget he used to be one of Us? he shoved past you on your first day here Niko!…could it be that our Jin is such a good kisser, you forgave all of what he did to you before you guys started dating? ” Moses said mockingly.

”Can we drop him already? my arm is going numb! ” Flint asked again, ”don you dare flint! ” Jin warned him.

”Niko! listen well, your boyfriend…is only your boyfriend because we made a bet.

Jin has always been a part of our crew, and chicks were digging him like crazy, but one day we realized that Jin rejected every girl that came his way.

We instantly Knew our Jin liked men, so we teased him for it a little, like friends would do…but Jin took things seriously and said we were bullying him, he even tried to report us! his friends! can you believe that Niko? ” Moses spoke pretending to be hurt.

”Shut up you asshole! ” Jin said, he glanced at Nikolai with tears in his eyes.

”Of course we got mad over the report, we told Jin that we will stop ullying him if he managed to win your heart.

You were the perfect pick, since not only you were obviously gay, but because no matter what we did to you Niko, you never broke like Julian did!…so we thought of a different way to get to you. ” Moses said while smirking at Jin, ”everything you had with him so far, is part of that bet. ” he added bursting into laughter.

”That can be true…Jin loves me, I WONT BELIEVE A WORD YOU SAY JERK! ” Nikolai shouted at him.

”Jin if you confess the Truth, I will free Niko…in fact, Ill stop bullying him till he graduates. ” Moses said.

Without a hesitation, ”Hes right Niko…this started as a bet. ” Jin spoke up, ”No, you
e just saying that to save me. ” Nikolai replied

”it was the truth, but I am in love with you now, I stopped being a bully for you Niko! I cut them off for you. ” Jin said crying.

”Aww! love made me a better person, bullshit! once a bully always a bully! ” Moses mocked, he then pulled out his phone and played a recording that proved Jin was dating Nikolai at the request of Moses.

e kidding me. ” Nikolai said in disbelief, Moses ushered for his underlings to let Nikolai free, so the two placed him back on the ground beside the pool before they walked Away with Moses leaving Jin and Nikolai behind.

”Niko. ” Jin rushed to Nikolai but immediately got slapped by him, ”From now on, don even think about calling my name, liar. ” Nikolai said before he ran away crying.
