” Oy, ain that kind of recovery like superhuman, thats not normal! ” exclaimed Aella with Koitos hand on her shoulder.

Kari was following behind them as they made their way down the stairway. Looking closely Koito was hurt real bad. He had at least a few broken ribs and a dislocated shoulder. He was desperately trying to hide it, but the pain was evident on his face and Aella noticed it.

” We should have just run you know ” she said. ” You could have died back there ” Aella lamented.

” Don worry too much, its only just some minor bruises. Ill be fine. ” Koito groaned trying act tough but it was clear the pain was getting to him. Those were just empty words.

” You idiot ” Aella said with her head turned towards the wall.

During the time Koito and Fredrick had begun their fight, without anyone noticing, Aella had slipped into the kitchen in search of a weapon. Something to backup Koito with. Judging by the way the battle were progressing, she had realized that she had no time and so she immediately grabbed the first thing that caught her eye, and went to help Koito. Of course that had been a pot. Though, it did not do much damage, it actually helped save Koitos life and he was grateful from the bottom of his heart. All that was left now was for them to make an escape from Fredrick but the odds were against them. As Fredrick was the most likely to have locked the other doors before, that meant he had access to all of them. And judging from the way he recovered from something thatd have hurt for at least half a day, it wouldn be an exaggeration if he actually got to the bottom floor before them.

Only the sound of footsteps could be heard as they made their way down. In that time of utter silence, Koito seemed to be in deep thought and Aella became curious. What could it be that kept him so quiet. Quite a number of guesses could be made but its all for naught if the owner of the thoughts doesn confirm them.

” Whats wrong? ” She asked

” Nothing, its just the things that Fredrick said keep bothering me ” he replied

” What do you mean by that? ” Aella asked again. ” What exactly about what he said is bothering you? ”

” Oh, that thing Fredrick said about there being money for my head, it just doesn make sense. How is it that they knew Im the one with the kid to have placed a bounty on me. Which leads me to believe that whoever sent Frederick after me knew all along where she was but then why didn they take her then before I found her. Why didn they come themselves? ”

There was a brief moment of silence before she asked, ” …What if they didn know? ”

” Huh? ” Koito was a bit confused

” I said what if they didn know where she was or even who you were? ” Aella contemplated.

” What are you even saying love? Thatd make it even more insensible to send a guy after me. You know what, forget it. Thinking too much is bad for my beautiful brain anyway ” said Koito.

”Theres another issue Im more worried about anyway ” Koito said.

” What other issue? ”

” Something he said about saying hie to my mother ” he said with a worrisome face. ” As he choked me to death ” Koito added.

” Well, if you don know yet, then why worry about it? ” Aella said trying to cheer him up. ”

e right ” he said and they continued the rest of the way silently.

Finally they reached the bottom floor. There was a door which led to the car park. The lights in the parking area were off, and it was hard to see anything with not much moonlight making its way in. It was pretty obvious at this point who was likely responsible. He was really starting to piss them off at this point, even though he wasn there.

” Lets go to my car, its in the back roll to the far left ” said Koito.

” No, we
e not taking my car ” replied Aella.

” What? Why? ” asked Koito.

” Are you stupid or just ignorant? That psycho has literally pulled all the strings to make sure he kills you or you don escape even if he couldn . Id bet he messed with your car too ” said Aella.

” What do you suggest we do then? ” Koito asked.

” We
e taking my car ” proudly said Aella.

” What!? That old thi…! ” The cold glare Koito was given made him stop talking midway.

” Since it seems I was literally invisible to him when you guys confronted each other, I doubt he even touched my OLD thing. So, unless youve got a better idea, we
e taking that OLD thing got it. Or I could just leave you guys here and go alone in my OLD thing since he isn after me anyway. Seriously, the things I do for you!. ” Aella furiously said.

Koito nodded and obediently went with her to the car. _Shes pissed isn she_ Koito thought. Arriving at the car, Aella helped Koito tie up his sit belt. She was a bit reluctant, but she gave in and let Kari enter the car as well. The car was an old model of Toyota Carina. It was evident that the car had had its fair share of rides. It was already beginning to rust in some areas. The thing really was old. Aella put the key in the key hole and turned it…

The car didn start. So she placed it in again and turned it a couple more times but still the car didn start at all and at that moment, from the middle of nowhere Fredrick came crashing into the car with his body making a dent in it. The car immediately cranked up. What luck! Hurriedly, Aella changed the gears and accelerated. It only moved a little and stopped, the wheels rolling in place. From behind, the car started tilting over. Everyone looked behind from inside the car. It was Fredrick, he was the one stopping and lifting the car.

” I told you didn I ” he said furiously ” Ill kill you even if its the last thing I do!! ” he burst out loud.

” Is this guy even human? ” Aella asked as she continued to rave the car. ” Coz he doesn seem like one to me. Im actually amazed you fought that thing and survived Koito ” she glazed over at Koito who had this look of shock on his face. Paying closer attention, she saw he wasn even looking at Fredrick, but rather Kari who was sitting in the back.

” Whats the matter? ” She asked bedazzled.

Koito looked over at her and said ” She talked! ”

Just then the car let out this thick cloud of smoke from the exhaust, which messed with Fredricks breathing and he let go of the vehicle. Not letting this opportunity slip by, Aella pressed hard on the accelerater and the car vanished from site in an instant.

Fredrick, having been left behind again just sat there and gave a heavy sigh. This was becoming much more trouble than hed hoped. He stood up and made his way to the control room of this 5 star hotel. Everyone in there was dead. There were over a dozen dead bodys on the ground all of which had stab wounds. He walked all over them until he reached the caller box. He picked up the landline and dialed a number. The phone rang for a couple of seconds before someone answered it.

” Did you do the job? ” Came a deep hoarse voice from the other side of the land. ” They got away ” Fredrick answered ” I don have a license, I can drive so I can go after them. ” he continued ” I almost had them, but there was an unexpected variable. I won be able to bring them in today as promised, but if you only give me one mor… ”

” All I want are results, code number 5 The Butcher NOT WHINING!! Don disappoint me again Butcher, or Ill come and slaughter you instead!!! ” and the phone was cut.

Fredrick dropped the dialer and looked up at the ceiling. ” DAMMIT!!!!!! ” He screamed at the top of his lungs.

On the other side in a dark room isolated from society. ” Sir, he failed! ” said the person who was on the phone with Fredrick.
