”Hello, theres a package here for the residents of room 203. If you
e in there then please respond ” Came to a voice from the hallway after the doorbell had rung a couple of times. It was very perculiar timing. They all looked at each other in confusion.

” Did you order something Aella? ” asked Koito.

Aella shook her head. But if Aella didn order it then who did? Koito would never order anything, hed rather go buy something in person than actually order. He didn trust the delivery services provided by modern companies. It couldn have been the Kari (short for Karikoga Williams), she was within the range of their vision the entire time and there was reason to doubt if she could even order.

” I didn order anything, please just leave the package at the door, Ill check it later! ”, Koito yelled and glanced over at Aella who was beginning to feel, a little fear creep in.

” It says here its from your mother, and I need a signature from you, sir, its company policy that I don leave without it! ” Came the voice from the other side of the door.

” My mother? ” Koito wondered. Was she one to ever resort to such methods? Curiosity began to rise in him. But as they say, curiosity killed the cat. There was no way around it now though since, the deliverer now knew there was someone inside, he couldn just back down now. He made his way to the door and reached out for the handle. Before attempting to open it he peeped through the door hole to see who it was only to find an eye peeping back at him. Shocked, he quickly moved away from the door.

”Sir, it would be very much appreciated if you would come out quickly, I have other places to be! ” said the courier.

Koito then took a deep breath, unlocked the door, and slowly creaked it open. It made this very eerie sound. He had it about thirty degrees open and he waved his hand for the man in front of him to hand him the package, which he did and he signed the papers afterward. The courier just took off immediately after that. Everything went smoothly, nothing unusual. The package was a large brown box which had been taped all over. Koito lifted it, it was quite the light box for one its size and he took it inside. All the tension that had accumulated began to die down. Koito, then unwrapped the box and opened it. There was a doll inside it with a letter right next to it. Koito breathed a sigh of relief, his mother would always send a doll along with any other goods she wanted him to have but she usually sent one of the guards to deliver it so this was very weird but very much like her. The young man then lifted the piece of paper right next to the doll and it read.

” Theres a bomb in the doll. ”

Huh!! He thought he had misread somewhere, so he read it a couple more times before throwing the paper aside, picking up the doll and ripping it open. And surely it was there, a clicking time bomb. His face turned pale and he was struck with fear as if with a thunderbolt. Suddenly, he jolted back to his senses and dashed towards the two girls.

” Run! ” he screamed.

The timer reached zero and the bomb exploded. The explosion was a rather minor one, smaller than that of a hand grenade. It only caused damage to the door and the surrounding wall. Aside from that everyone and everything else was fine. From the smoke a tall bulked human figure came into view. It was Fredrick his next-door neighbor. He was coughing and waving his hand away at the smoke.

He peeped over at them and said ” Dammit, that didn do the trick huh. You should have just kicked the bucket. ” Fredrick said with a grin on his face.

Koito was very taken aback, he had only known him for a couple of days but he didn seem the type to do something like that. A wolf hiding in sheeps clothing.

” Fredrick, you did this?! ” exclaimed Koito. ” Why? I don remember us being on such bad terms ” he continued showing signs of deep hurt.

Bonds are formed beyond the boundaries of time. Koito had begun to accept Fredrick as one of his friends. They went out and had fun and also helped each other on several occasions.

” Oh, ” replied Fredrick ” I did this because of that girl you
e harboring. ” he said pointing at Kari ” And as for why I tried to kill you, … It was supposed to be a secret but why not, you
e gonna die anyway. Theres a bounty on your head maman. The guy in a suit said so, that I get five million for your head and twenty for hers preferably alive ”

” What are you on about right now? Theres money for my head as well ” Koito said expressing worry, ” The heck man, if you wanted money, I could have given you some. Twenty mil, forty you name it. Why resort to this? ”

Fredrick grinned as he took a dagger from his back pocket. It was big for a dagger but it fit right into his massive hand.

” Wheres the fun in that? ” he said.

Koito was shocked ” huh?… ” came out his mouth. ” I mean, I know you
e a rich kid and all that but its kind of boring to get money just like that without even working for it and I know you
e only saying those things because you
e about to die, in actuality no one wants to share their wealth with anyone. Fear has clouded your judgement Koito kun. ”

_Shit this guy is crazy. Hes taking logical concepts and twisting them in order to fit his own ideals. Koito thought.

” Now Koito my friend, pick out your weapon! ” Fredrick lunged out as he took a fighting stance ” Let your soul scream out as we battle for our lives! ”

And Koito, responding to those words, took a baseball bat that had been lying on the passageway that had been originally meant for any break-in thieves and he also took a stance. This wasn as scary as he thought itd be.

” Hey Fredrick, why didn you just use a grenade or shoot me with a gun, thatd have been a lot more effective, don you think? ” he asked as he stepped in closer for a swing.

There was a brief moment of silence before Fredrick chuckled and looked at Koito with a murderous glare and answered whilst simultaneously threw the knife at him ” I like my blood red! ” he said.

Koito didn know this but Fredrick was a soldier that had been arrested for his violent behavior and six attempted murders. All the victims had been left bleeding out before being found by the police and taken to the hospital. A few days back, hed been reported to have escaped from prison though. In other words, this guy was an expert in combat skills.

Koito dodged the knife due to his reflexes and swung the baseball bat towards Fredrick, who easily parried it away and countered with a massive right hook into Koitos stomach. Unfortunately, he wasn able to avoid it, and it hit hard. The sheer force and impact of the blow was like being hit by a truck. It sent him flying across the room and crushing into the wall on the other side. The pain was unbearable. He vomited and tried to catch his breath. This guy in front of him was a beast. This kind of strength isn supposed to be allowed for a human. How the heck was he supposed to beat the guy. Fredrick, who was laughing hysterically began to walk over to Koito.

”Shit, ” coughed Koito as he desperately tried to pick himself up. Suddenly, he was hit with an uppercut and another flurry of blows upon landing. By the time the blows stopped coming, Koito was about to lose consciousness. Fredrick then held him by the collar.

” Is that all youve got?! ” he said ” Man, you
e boring. Time to die, prepare yourself ”

He took the dagger which had stuck to the wall and placed it on Koitos throat. ” Say hello to your mother for me ” he said.

” What? ” said Koito perplexed.

Just then, like a bullet, a massive thick pot came flying and hit Fredrick on the back of the head band he loosened his grip on Koito.

” Please, don forget about me! ” Aella said shaking with fear and a pot in her hand.

” Kisama!!! ” Fredrick raged

Mastering all his might, whilst taking advantage of the moment he was distracted Koito swung his leg right into Fredricks family balls. He could swear he felt something crunch on his leg. Fredrick let out a quick.

” Thats what you get for messing with this face ” said Koito as he spit out at him.

Aella then offered to take his hand on her shoulder and they left the house. Kari followed them. Koito lived in one of five expensive apartment complexes on one of the top floor. The house number counted from bottom to top. Since there was interference with the electricity before, the elevators were not working thus they had to take the stairs. They moved from one stairway door to another but most of them were locked.

” Fredricks responsible isn he? ” said Koito ” I bet hes also responsible for the power outage earlier ”

” Well, knowing that ain gonna help us get anywhere ” exclaimed Aella.

After some salvaging they finally found it, an unlocked door. As they were about to go in, a knife came flying and grazing Koito by the ear.

” Where do you think you
e going? ” Fredrick said whilst holding his tendons.

” In quick! ” yelled Koito and all three hurriedly made their way inside, simultaneously Fredrick was pulling out a pistol and as he shot the first bullet, Koito and Co were already locking the metal door from inside. The bullets bounced off.

” Ahhhhhh!!! ” Fredrick screamed ” Im gonna kill you Koito!!!! Even if its the last thing I do!! ”
